Seven women and three men due in court over alleged money laundering offences

More info Seven women and three men are due in court in connection with alleged money laundering offences in north Dublin. Gardaí attached to the Balbriggan Economic Crime Unit have charged ten people in relation to alleged money laundering offences contrary to the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing) Act, 2010. This forms part of ongoing investigations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region North Division targeting a web of laundering money, believed to be directly acquired through criminal enterprises. A garda spokesperson said: "The ten individuals, 3 males (all aged in their 20s) and 7 females (six aged in their 20s and one in her 30s) are all due to appear before a sitting of Balbriggan District Court this morning, Thursday 26th June 2025, at 10:30am." 10 people charged in relation to alleged money laundering
Gardaí have charged 10 people in relation to alleged money laundering offences. The three men and seven women were arrested as part of ongoing investigations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region North Division targeting a web of laundering money, believed to be directly acquired through criminal enterprises. Advertisement All the men are aged in their 20s, while six of the women are in their 20s and one is in her 30s. They were charged by gardaí attached to the Balbriggan Economic Crime Unit with alleged money laundering offences contrary to the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing) Act, 2010. They're due before Balbriggan District Court at 10.30am on Thursday.
