Stock market update: Nifty Auto index falls 0.57% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index traded negative around 11:22AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market. The Nifty Auto index was down 0.57 per cent at 23626.9 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 106.96 points at 24894.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 371.46 points at 81804.99. Live Events Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, IFCI and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Apollo Micro Systems, Stampede Cap(DVR), GE T&D India, Shree Vasu Logistics and Cosmo Films hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Godha Cabcon & Insul, Tantia Const, Shree Ram Proteins, Protean eGov Techno and Chembond Chem hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
