‘It still doesn't feel real' says EuroMillions winner as they collect big prize after last-minute purchase
A LUCKY winner has told how it "still doesn't feel real" after collecting a €250k EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle prize.
The player bought his ticket at Moloney's Daybreak in Carrigkerry, Athea, Co.

The National Lottery has revealed where the winning ticket was sold
He said: 'I was just grabbing a few bits for the family when I asked the shop assistant if I was too late for a EuroMillions ticket.
"She told me I was just in the nick of time, and that ticket turned out to be the big one!'
His partner shared a laugh in the winners' room, saying: 'It's funny because all weekend he kept joking, asking if I thought he might have the winning ticket.
"We heard it was won in Limerick, but he kept putting off checking it!'

Now €255,000 richer, the couple are fast-tracking their dream of building a new family home.
They said: 'It's been a long journey, but this win means we can finally move things along.
"We're over the moon, and it still doesn't feel real!'

The all-important ticket was bought at SuperValu on Main Street, Ratoath, and it turned out to be the best decision he's made in a while, especially since he only recently started adding the Plus option to his usual Quick Pick.

He said: 'I had a few old tickets lying around and decided to get them checked.
"One of them printed a slip telling me to contact the National Lottery.
"I didn't think much of it until I noticed the shop was decked out in balloons.
"I was driving home and that's when it hit me, I could be the winner!'

He pulled over mid-journey to check his numbers online and sure enough, he was the EuroMillions Plus jackpot winner.
The delighted player added: 'The first thing I did was call my partner. She was completely speechless.'
