Samantha on having 'worst thoughts' over divorce, health issues: Didn't act on them
Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, in a recent interview, talked about a particular year in which nothing was going in her favour. Without mentioning her divorce or a setback in her health, the actor spoke about having 'worst possible thoughts' for a year. She further added that she was 'too chicken' to act on those thoughts. The actor then opened up about going through the low phase and what she learnt from her the troubling period a 'never-ending abyss', she told Galatta Plus, "I remember once I actually went to the point where I thought like, 'enough, I can't do this anymore'. I had the worst possible thoughts. I obviously didn't have the courage to go ahead and do it."She stated, "It was hard for a year. There was nothing that was working, there were no answers being given." Samantha talked about not acting on these thoughts and how she developed the resilience to go through them. "I obviously chickened out because you need to have lots of guts to act upon these thoughts. She recalled the time when a few fans approached her for pictures when she was travelling to attend her father's funeral in Chennai. Calling her fans the reason for her success, the actor explained that they may not know what we [celebrities] are going to Galatta Plus, she said, "I never say no to pictures because they are the people who made you who you are."Recalling the day her father died, "I remember just recently in December, I got a call in the morning from my mother that my dad has passed away. I had to take the first flight out of Mumbai to Chennai and I was in shock because I had not spoken to my dad in a while. I was kind of frozen on the flight without much reaction and I remember there were quite a few people who asked for my picture and I remember standing and taking all these pictures and smiling." The 'Kushi' actor also said that fans may not know the mental state that a celebrity is in when they are approaching for a thing is if you just say 'no', they don't know what state you are in it takes a lot of courage to walk up to someone and ask them to take a picture with you.
