According to a statement issued by the Ministry, Bani Mustafa reviewed Jordan's leading efforts in the field of social protection, highlighting the launch of the National Social Protection Strategy (2025–2033), which is aligned with the country's political, economic, and administrative modernization visions. She stressed that social protection enjoys high-level royal attention and that its implementation will be carried out in partnership with various ministries and national institutions. The strategy, she said, was developed through nationwide consultations involving stakeholders and relevant entities. Bani Mustafa also underscored the significance of Jordan's participation in the International Family Forum titled "Protecting and Strengthening the Family in the Face of Global Challenges," set to be held later this week in Turkey, with ministerial participation from several countries. She noted that the forum will provide an opportunity to exchange expertise and best practices, especially as Jordan has recently made notable advancements in social protection. The initiative comes under the framework of the 'Nazaha: EU Support for Social Accountability and Empowering Civil Society for Good Governance' project, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The initiative is implemented by Al Hayat Centre-Rased and Rasheed for Integrity and Transparency (TI-Jordan), with joint funding from the European Union and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). Speaking at the event, which was attended by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation Marwan Refai, Deputy Head of the Spanish Mission in Amman Estibaliz Lopez, EU Delegation Programme Manager Tina Preihavic, and a number of civil society representatives, Bani Mustafa stressed that the launch of the platform marks a 'qualitative' leap in empowering civil society organisations. She praised it as another 'achievement' added to the many accomplishments of Al Hayat Centre–Rased, particularly as it coincides with the Kingdom's celebrations of Flag Day. The minister highlighted the importance of the collaborative efforts that led to the platform's creation, underscoring its role in enhancing governance, transparency, and compliance standards within civil society organisations. These efforts, she noted, will contribute to objectively evaluating and classifying their performance, one of the ministry's key objectives. The platform is also expected to support the ministry's drive to digitalise association data and streamline related procedures, especially through integration with the Takamol platform. Bani Mustafa added that the platform's goals align with the updated National Social Protection Strategy, particularly its pillar on strengthening and empowering the association sector.

Speaking at the session "Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship: Supporting Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities" during the Third Global Disability Summit 2025 in Berlin, Bani Mustafa highlighted Jordan's legislative progress in advancing disability rights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. She underscored the country's commitment to aligning legal frameworks with international agreements, citing the amendment to Article 6 of the Jordanian Constitution as a milestone in affirming disability rights. She also pointed to the Social Development Law of 2024 and related regulations that support social inclusion and accessibility. The minister also noted that Jordan has made significant strides in assistive technology, integrating AI-driven solutions, smart devices, and assistive applications into education, healthcare, rehabilitation, and social services. During the talks, Bani Mustafa reviewed the key achievements in empowering Jordan's people with disabilities, in terms of legislative frameworks and the system of services provided to this group. The minister pointed to the importance of enhancing opportunities for cooperation and exchanging expertise in promoting the autonomy of people with disabilities by their integration and empowerment to achieve independence in daily life. Bani Mustafa also highlighted the efforts made to implement Jordan's Social Protection Strategy, in partnership with several institutions and ministries, which work to implement the strategy's provisions. 'The strategy's four axes of empowerment, dignity, opportunity, and resilience aim to provide a protection system for target groups, including persons with disabilities,' she said. The minister added that integration of persons with disabilities within the framework of the Shelter Alternatives Strategy aims to enable them to achieve the "highest possible" level of independence, productivity, and participation in society.

It includes detailed technical and procedural aspects to protect the rights of donors, safeguard the entities involved in collecting donations, and protect society from attempts of exploitation. Regarding the system's technical updates, Bani Mustafa clarified that a unified electronic portal will be created to submit licensing requests. This portal will serve as a central platform for qualified entities to apply for donation collection licenses electronically, attach required documents easily, and provide mechanisms for tracking requests and notifications, which will simplify and expedite the process. She also discussed the role of the technical committee formed under the system's provisions, saying that it has established clear operational mechanisms, including a commitment to studying requests and providing recommendations within a specified time to ensure efficient procedures. Bani Mustafa highlighted the importance of the appeals committee, which will review objections to decisions of non-approval of licenses, ensuring that applicants have the right to challenge decisions in accordance with proper procedures. Regarding the means of donation collection, she confirmed that the system clearly defines the approved methods, whether electronic or non-electronic, and sets clear conditions and regulations for each method to ensure the safety of the process and protect donor funds. The Minister emphasized the obligations of those licensed to collect donations, stressing the importance of adhering to the goals for which the donations were collected, submitting necessary reports to the ministry, and complying with financial and administrative regulations as outlined in the system. She explained that the funds collected under this system are considered public funds and are subject to audit by the Audit Bureau. The ministry will not tolerate violations, including revoking licenses and referring violations to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission. Bani Mustafa concluded her statement by noting that under the new system, licensed entities are prohibited from transferring any funds collected to individuals or organizations outside the country without the approval of the Cabinet and submission of relevant documents regarding the collection.
