Political organization holds ‘Erie Strong' rally in Perry Square
Protesters filled Perry Square Saturday afternoon to speak out about the political landscape. The political organization, 50501, brought hundreds together for a rally they called Erie Strong. Kennedy's comments Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of upholding the constitution and ending what they believe has been executive overreach from President Trump. Organizers hoped to bring people together to stand up for individuals that they say are being marginalized by the federal government with budget cuts. There is a lot of division going on, and we need to overcome that, and we can do that together,' said Christy Reeves, 50501 Movement state organizer. Shots fired call ends with two Meadville teens arrested
(WJET/WFXP)– Two Meadville area juveniles are facing felony charges after multiple shots rang out Monday night, striking a building and a nearby car. According to Meadville police, the call for shots fired came in around 8:24 on April 14 along Chula Street and stemmed from a robbery that happened earlier that night. PA man faces over two dozen charges for alleged possession of AI child porn After a couple of days of investigation, police said they arrested a 14-year-old male, saying he fired those shots while being chased by the person he had allegedly robbed, striking a nearby building and a car. Another 14-year-old male was also taken into custody over the incident, with both juveniles facing felony and misdemeanor charges, but they are not releasing them at this time.
