Mendon's Barbulean is Player of the Week
Cameron Barbulean of Mendon baseball has been having quite the postseason.
In the Class A sectional final, he struck out 16 in a 7-1 win to help the Vikings capture their fifth title in program history.
Then in the Far West Regional, Barbulean retired another 16 batters in a complete-game effort. The game went to nine innings, and Barbulean held his opponent scoreless until Mendon walked it off for a 1-0 win.
The Vikings are on their way to the state semifinal, and our Player of the Week is a big reason why.
