Who is Barron Trump's new girlfriend? Mystery surrounds the girl the first son is often seen with
Barron Trump may have quietly entered the dating scene. During his first year at NYU, Barron Trump has maintained a low profile, but recent reports suggest he is adjusting well. The son of US President Donald Trump, Barron Trump, is apparently "apolitical." According to reports, Barron Trump is happy at NYU, where he has a stable girlfriend and a modest social circle. Who is Barron Trump's mystery girlfriend? The youngest Trump, who is currently finishing his freshman year at NYU, is rumored to be spending time with a new girlfriend, the identity of whom remains unknown, as per a report by the Daily Beast. A campus friend told News Nation rare details about his low-key personal life and growing popularity. Despite remaining private and avoiding the spotlight, Barron has reportedly formed close friendships and piqued interest with his looks and tech-savvy nature, while remaining largely off the radar. Barron is much more like his mother, Melania. He continues working while keeping his head down. He is making an effort to avoid being BMOC, or "big man on campus," as per a report by the Daily Beast. Live Events However, not much detail regarding Barron's possible romance is available. In response to the Daily Mail's assertion that she "may fit the mold of the perfect girlfriend for Barron," conservative influencer Mari Arana, a fellow NYU student , stated in February that she had not yet met the first son but added, "It's not like I was against it." Barron's father believes that the rumored girlfriend, whoever she is, might be his first romantic partner. The president described his son as "good-looking" on Patrick David's PBD Podcast in October 2024, but he also stated, "I don't think he's had a girlfriend yet." "He's someone who gets along with people, but he doesn't mind being alone." ALSO READ: $1 billion Rhode deal: Did Hailey Bieber rescue bankrupt husband Justin? Insider spills the truth Is Barron Trump struggling to fit in at NYU? Since he began his freshman year at the university last September, the youngest Trump child has been dogged by rumors that he is having difficulty fitting in. According to a December TMZ article, Barron "hardly exists" on campus because he finds it hard to interact with people due to the Secret Service's constant presence. Rather, he had "been asking NYU students for their Discord usernames and gamertags to play together online." But apparently, Barron was "very popular with the ladies" and wasn't having any trouble fitting in. He is tall and attractive, according to People's report. "He seems to be quite attractive to a lot of people and even liberals like him." Is he following in his father's political footsteps? Barron is "pretty apolitical" on campus and "not interested in" assuming leadership of the Republican Party from his father, according to the report. Barron has not even participated in conservative student organizations such as the College Republicans. This claim is completely opposite to what was told about Barron during the 2024 election, when his parents suggested that he played a key role in the current president's efforts to reach Generation Z through podcast appearances. FAQs Does Barron Trump have a girlfriend? Yes, a campus friend claims Barron is frequently seen with a "really nice girlfriend," though her identity is unknown. Does Barron participate in politics at NYU? No, according to sources, he is "pretty apolitical" and prefers technology and privacy over politics.

No proof Harvard rejected Barron Trump
Why is there not a rating on this post? There's not enough verified evidence for us to definitively confirm or debunk this rumor. Contact us if you have credible information to share. We'll update this post as necessary. In an effort to explain why U.S. President Donald Trump's administration targeted Harvard University for funding cuts during his second term, social media users claimed that his son, Barron Trump, had been rejected from the elite institution. The rumors spread on Facebook, X and other platforms. Similar claims circulated previously amid the president's broader threats and efforts to cut funding from other top schools; many posts claimed Stanford, Columbia and Harvard all rejected Trump's youngest son. One Democratic senator, Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, implied that the president may be freezing funds to Harvard because of a personal quest for revenge, writing on X and Threads above an Esquire story about Harvard's feud with Trump: "Can't help but wonder how many Trumps got rejected by Harvard." However, there is no evidence that these universities rejected Barron Trump, a New York University student. Stanford, Harvard and Columbia did not return requests to confirm or debunk that they rejected admission to the 19-year-old; this story will be updated if they respond. As first reported by USAToday, the first lady's office categorically denied that Barron Trump even applied to Harvard. "Barron did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false," said Nick Clemens, spokesperson for the Office of the First Lady, in an email to Snopes. (USAToday reported receiving the same statement.) Clemens did not respond to repeated inquiries as to whether the first lady's son was rejected from Columbia or Stanford. Google searches for "Barron Trump Harvard rejection," "Barron Trump Stanford rejection" and "Barron Trump Columbia rejection" returned no results showing evidence that these universities rejected him as of this writing. Similarly, Google searches for "Barron Trump applied to Harvard," "Barron Trump applied to Columbia" and "Barron Trump applied to Stanford" returned no relevant results as of this writing. A search of the president's Truth Social posts also found no mention of "Barron" in conjunction with any university; searches for "Harvard," "Columbia" and "Stanford" also found no posts which mentioned Barron Trump or any of the Trump children as of this writing. Barron Trump broke from his family's tradition when he decided to attend NYU; in the past, Trump's children have gone to either the University of Pennsylvania or Georgetown University, or both. While reports do not appear to show the Trump administration targeting Georgetown's funding, he and his allies reportedly targeted Georgetown Law in other ways. Trump has also frozen funding to the University of Pennsylvania, his own alma mater, citing the school's policy on transgender athletes. Thus, universities that have accepted Trump family members are not exempt from the president's funding cuts, suggesting that alleged retaliation against the universities that supposedly rejected Barron Trump was not necessarily driving his decisions. Fact Check: Barron Trump didn't marry Princess Leonor of Spain
Claim: In 2025, Barron Trump married Princess Leonor of Spain in a royal wedding held at a European palace. Rating: In May 2025, a rumor spread across social media claiming that Barron Trump, the youngest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, had married Princess Leonor of Spain. The story was pushed by several YouTube videos, one of which was titled, "Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Grand Royal Wedding at a Magnificent Palace," and reached over 146,000 views. The video's description read: Step into a world of elegance and history as we unveil Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Grand Royal Wedding at a Magnificent Palace. Set in a timeless European palace, this royal ceremony captures the grace, tradition, and grandeur of old-world nobility. From the majestic processional to the heartfelt vows, every moment feels like a scene from a fairytale. Witness the union of American and Spanish heritage in a wedding unlike any other. Similar videos about the alleged wedding of Barron Trump and Princess Leonor appeared in early 2025, including titles such as "Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Singing - Double Happiness | Royal Wedding at the Royal Palace," "Barron Trump and Princess Leonor's Royal Wedding at the Spanish Royal Palace," and "Barron Trump Marries Princess Leonor – A Royal Love Story Come True." Most of these videos featured sentimental music, portraying the pair singing romantic duets. Similar clips spread on other social media platforms, including TikTok and Facebook. However, none of these videos was based in reality. First, there were no credible news reports or official announcements from either the Spanish royal family or the Trump family confirming any such relationship or marriage between the two individuals. Princess Leonor, born in 2005 and currently heir to the Spanish throne, has been the subject of significant media attention, and any real engagement or marriage would have made news headlines. Additionally, the videos spreading the claim were explicitly labeled AI-generated, and many of the clips used in these videos displayed clear signs of artificial creation, including distorted facial features, unnatural skin textures, and inconsistent lighting or backgrounds. Therefore, we have rated this claim as false. The videos seemed to originate from the Lovely Trump Family YouTube channel (archived), which featured multiple videos with the same narrative (see screenshot below): (YouTube channel Lovely Trump Family) One YouTube video that featured a romantic song and allegedly showed scenes from Barron Trump's wedding reached over 1.8 million views as of this writing. It was captioned: Experience the magical royal wedding as Barron Trump and Princess Leonor of Spain perform a series of heartfelt songs at their grand wedding celebration. With their soulful voices, they sing beautiful ballads like "Our Forever Begins," "A Love Meant to Be," and "Promise of Forever." Each song is a tribute to true love, faith, and the journey of two hearts coming together. Set against the stunning backdrop of a royal palace and a luxurious setting, their emotional performance captures the essence of a fairytale romance. The enchanting lyrics, heartfelt melodies, and the radiant smiles of Barron and Princess Leonor create an unforgettable moment, making this royal wedding a truly magical event. Witness the joy, love, and celebration of two souls united in a grand and elegant ceremony. Like the other videos, it included an "AI Disclaimer" stating, "This video was created using AI technology for entertainment purposes. The voices, visuals, and performances of Barron Trump and Princess Leonor are generated using advanced AI software and do not represent real-life events." Despite this disclaimer, many users in the comments appeared to take the content at face value, praising the supposed couple and reacting as if the wedding had genuinely taken place. Additionally, a Google search for "Barron Trump Princess Leonor wedding" returned no relevant results beyond AI-generated content. ( In addition to disclaimers labeling the videos as AI-generated, the content itself contained numerous visual cues that it was artificially created. These included distorted facial features, unnatural skin textures, and lighting inconsistencies that are common artifacts of AI. For example, in one scene, a car's license plate appeared with jumbled, nonsensical characters that did not resemble any real-world format. In another scene purportedly showing a crowd at the alleged wedding, many of the attendees' faces were blurred, asymmetrical and unnaturally rendered. (YouTube channel Lovely Trump Family) The rumor appears to have originated purely from speculative posts on social media. One of the earliest and most widely shared examples came from an X user in October 2024, who wrote, "Barron Trump and the Princess of Spain Leonor are a match made in heaven. Same age, no previous relationships, good values, good looking and with a powerful family," reaching over 7 million views. The post was not based on any confirmed relationship, interaction or credible report involving the two individuals. Snopes has previously debunked several false claims involving Barron Trump, including a viral rumor that he was rejected by Harvard University and AI-generated videos that falsely portrayed him singing on America's Got Talent.

Trump biographer explains why Melania denied Barron rumor
Melania Trump moved quickly to clear up a rumor that her son Barron had been rejected from Harvard after the fictional story became an ongoing joke within the White House. Trump biographer Michael Wolff has shed new light on the gossip among MAGA allies that President Trump had set his sights on destroying the prestigious university because his 19-year-old son was rejected from the school. 'That exists because I reported that was the joke within the White House,' he said about Melania's statement. Three weeks ago, Wolff took to Instagram to share the 'joke going around the White House this week.' 'What do all the universities Trump is targeting have in common?' he asked. 'Barron didn't get into them.' Melania took the rare step of issuing a public denial to the 'completely false' rumor, insisting through her communications director Nicholas Clemens that 'any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false.' Barron is a freshman at NYU's lauded Stern Business School, and Trump has repeatedly said his son was accepted to several colleges but had his heart set on NYU. Wolff admitted that he wasn't sure if the rumor had any validity, but that hasn't stopped it from spreading like wildfire within the White House. 'I don't know if there is any truth to this, there very well might be, but within the White House, that is the joke,' he said. 'Because they're like, "What is he doing?" This is, you know, this is crazy stuff,' Wolff said about Trump's rage at the Ivy league school. '"Why would this be happening?" And then they tell the Barron joke.' Harvard has a notoriously high rejection rate with about 96% of applicants being told no. The revelation comes as Trump continues his tirade against Harvard by banning the attendance of foreign students. He also canceled the federal government's remaining contracts, which are worth about $100 million. When President Trump launched his first broadside against Harvard in April, canceling a massive round of federal funding after the university wouldn't bow to his demands, the internet was rife with speculation he was angry because his son wasn't admitted. 'Did Trump target Harvard because the university rejected Barron?,' read several posts on social media. Even a Democratic senator stoked the fires of speculation with a tweet on the matter. 'Can't help but wonder how many Trumps got rejected by Harvard,' Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island wrote on X when he reposted an article about the president's attacks. The youngest Trump child broke from family's tradition when he decided to attend Stern Business School at New York University. The president attended the University of Pennsylvania as did many of his children. Other Trump kids went to Georgetown University. In an interview with Daily Mail last fall, Donald Trump said Barron had been accepted to 'a lot' of colleges. 'He's a very smart guy, and he'll be going to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at NYU,' he said. He also said Barron had considered following in his footsteps at University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, but ultimately chose NYU. 'It's a very high quality place. He liked it. He liked the school,' said Trump. Barron graduated from Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, last May. He lives in Trump Tower in New York while attending NYU. Melania Trump has spent much of her time as first lady in New York with her son. The two are close and she is known to be protective of him. In September, she told Fox News that Barron was always looking at studying in New York. He 'wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home,' she said at the time. President Trump, meanwhile, has waged war on elite universities, accusing them of antisemitism and blasting their 'woke' ideology. He claims the top schools in the country are controlled by 'Marxist maniacs and lunatics.' Trump has demanded Harvard eliminate its diversity, equity, and inclusion program; cut the power of its professors; refuse foreign students; and ban masks at campus protests. Harvard is fighting back just as hard, filing lawsuits in federal court to counter the administration.
