During the trip, Molly shared a raft of snaps of her and the couple's daughter Bambi but appeared to keep Tommy out of sight for many of her uploads. She captured scenes showing her and her two-year-old enjoying a cuddle outside an ice cream parlour before they struck a look-a-like pose on the beach. Christina Aguilera fans hardly recognise star as she debuts new look and 'ages backwards'
Pop star Christina Aguilera has been flooded with compliments as she looked just like she did when she shot to fame 25 years ago as fans says she is aging backwards Christina Aguilera has surprised her fans with her new appearance as they say she is aging backwards. The pop star, 44, showed off her new style as she took part in a photoshoot. She appeared to reference her early career as she rocked a dark smokey eye while rocking a gold mini dress. Christina's blonde locks were backcombed and tousled as she held them up in her hands. The Lady Marmalade hitmaker shared a behind the scenes look at the shoot, which showed her styling many different looks. She wrote: "work & play," alongside the post as she gave fans a tease at the upcoming photos. Her followers were quick to compliment the star, with many referencing how she appears to not have aged a day. One said: "Oh she's a MODEL, she looks like Christina Aguilera 1999." Another added: "HOW IS SHE BENJAMIN BUTTONING? I've always been such a huge Christina fan and it's been so nice to see her look so happy, healthy and THRIVING lately and this shoot is SO GORGEOUS." Someone else commented: Queen looking freshhh." A fourth wrote: "Queen aged so well." Another gushed: "Flawless, ageless, eternal Queen." Christina has long been open about her body image as a public figure. During the pandemic, she dropped 40 pounds (18 kgs) through a combination of diet, exercise and lifestyle changes. However, the Genie in a Bottle singer revealed she has not always been as body-confident as she is today. In 2021, the five-time Grammy winner opened up about the pressures she felt about her appearance during the 90s. Speaking to Health Magazine, she admitted: 'I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure.' Christina heartbreakingly confessed that she really struggled with body image throughout her twenties. She said: "I would never want to relive my 20s — you're so in your own head and finding your confidence.' Last year, Christina had unwanted attention as she was accused of using weight loss drugs. She was at workout studio Barry's Bootcamp in West Hollywood to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her self-titled debut album. The mother-of-two rocked a black bodysuit with thigh-high boots for the event, and her appearance was filmed and shared on social media, prompting an outpouring of messages from her fans. It left Christina issuing a statement where she said her recent weight loss had nothing to do with focusing on 'being skinny'. She said her mental health had been impacted due to being targeted for her petite frame when she burst onto the music scene 25 years ago. 'When you're a teenager, you have a very different body than when you're in your 20s. I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, 'Oh, she's getting thicker.' "Then I had industry people: 'They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager',' Christina shared.

Meet Broadway's Betty Boop, Jasmine Amy Rogers
Jasmine Amy Rogers plays Betty Boop in BOOP! The Musical, now on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre Jasmine Amy Rogers will never forget where she was when she learned that she was offered the role of Betty Boop in BOOP! The Musical. It was the summer of 2023 and she had just left her apartment to get on the six train to take a class at Barry's Bootcamp. 'I was attempting to keep myself busy and was going to try this class for the first time,' says Rogers, who got the call from all three of her agents about the show that would run in Chicago before heading to Broadway. 'They always get on a four-way call. And they were saying, 'you're gonna play Boop.' They were proud of me, and so excited,' says Rogers. They told her to keep the news under wraps. 'The only person I could call was my mother,' she says. 'I remember it being a gloomy, warm, rainy day, but I was just over the moon and it was the best day ever.' The road to playing Betty Boop had been challenging for Rogers. The musical about the strong and sultry iconic comic book character who debuted in 1930 had a dream creative team attached. That included director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell, composer David Foster, lyricist Susan Birkenhead and book writer Bob Martin. For Rogers, who was in her early twenties, playing the title role was a lot. A musical theater standout, Rogers had already worked with Mitchell in the musical Becoming Nancy. But until that point, BOOP! eluded her. She had auditioned for the role about seven times yet couldn't land it. 'It was clear Jerry and DB Bonds, our associate director, wanted me. But I had to prove to them that I could handle it,' says Rogers. 'I believe it was about inhabiting myself. I was lacking the confidence needed to play the role and carry the show.' During one work session with Bonds he told her, "You have to go in there and show them what you are doing is worthy.' Looking back, Rogers sees that they knew she was capable of playing Betty Boop before she believed in herself. 'It was basically them trying to convince me that I really wanted this. I had to own it,' she says. 'And when I finally did, that is when I got the role.' But Rogers got to own the role and more. A tap-dancing triple threat, she has a voice as smooth as honey and a belt that brings down the house. She creates a layered Betty Boop that is vulnerable and sweet, yet very powerful and smart. The company also includes Faith Prince, Ainsley Melham, Erich Bergen, Stephen DeRosa, Anastacia McCleskey, Angelica Hale, Phillip Huber, and Aubie Merrylees. 'I love how full of life and how caring Betty is. She is so smart and vivacious,' says Rogers. She is also drawn to Betty's ability to be so nurturing. "Throughout the story, she goes on a journey to find something that she feels is missing in her life. But along the way, she makes sure to stop and take care of people around her,' she says. 'She never sees this as a burden or roadblock. She is willing to give so much of herself to the people around her. Betty views the world in such a beautiful way, it really inspires me to live my own life just a little bit happier and with more optimism.' A passion for performing was in Rogers' DNA. She remembers her late father singing jazz tunes when she was a little girl while her mother adored show tunes. 'My father loved to sing jazz music. He would make up his own songs that felt like their own standards, and he always wanted me to sing,' she says. "My mother was a big musical theater girl who loved Wicked and Rent. And those were my two favorite musicals.' Rogers begged her mother to let her audition for their community theater production of Peter Pan at Milford Performing Arts Center in Milford, Massachusetts, where she was living at the time. (She also grew up in Richmond, Texas, outside Houston.) Playing homage to Wicked, she sang 'Popular' and was cast in the ensemble playing a member of Tiger Lily's tribe. 'Instead of being Native Americans, we were hippies,' says Rogers. She vividly remembers her mother getting the call that they wanted her seven-year-old self for the show. 'I was so excited, I ran around the house, losing my mind,' says Rogers. 'And ever since, I've been hooked.' Throughout the years Rogers continued to do theater, and in her senior year of high school, Rogers was cast as the Witch in Into The Woods. The part won her the Tommy Tune award, given to students who excel in theater in the greater Houston area. That also gave her the opportunity to participate Jimmy Awards, which celebrates the best musical theater talent from around the nation. Rogers made it to the finals. 'When I won the Tommy Tune Award I was so shocked. I was so sure that another girl, who I'm still friends with and was amazing, was going to win,' she says. But after that accolade and the Jimmy Awards she knew that this was her path. Rogers was accepted into the Manhattan School of Music, a conservatory in New York City, to study musical theater. After two years, a professional career beckoned. She was cast in the musical Becoming Nancy, directed by Jerry Mitchell, who would later cast her in BOOP!. 'That is when things really began for me,' says Rogers, who played Gretchen Wieners in the first national tour of Mean Girls. (From left) Stephen DeRosa (Grampy), Jasmine Amy Rogers (Betty Boop), Phillip Huber (Pudgy) As much as she always longed for it, she didn't know if playing a title role like Betty Boop would actually be within her reach. 'When I was little, I wondered if one day I would get to be Wendy in Peter Pan, or Cinderella in Cinderella,' says Rogers. 'And here I am doing that. It was always a dream of mine, and the fact that I'm here doing it is really special.' Rogers hopes people feel that sense of joy that she feels at each performance. 'This show is joy personified. And I hope that we are bringing joy to people in a time where joy feels very sparse sometimes,' she says. 'And I hope people walk away feeling uplifted, loved, ready to love and with a smile on their face.' The cast of BOOP! The Musical Jasmine Amy Rogers as Betty Boop

Workout challenges like 75 Hard and Winter Arc can provide motivation and build community. Are they worth trying?
Every year it seems like a new workout challenge is making the rounds on social media. Maybe you've seen that influencer boasting about completing 75 Hard, a challenge in which you do two 45-minute workouts a day and follow a diet, with zero cheat days. Perhaps you've considered the 'Winter Arc' challenge, in which you set a series of personalized fitness and mental health goals to complete by the end of the chilly season. Or, you've read about the 6-6-6 walking challenge making the rounds — that's 60 minutes of walking a day, at 6 a.m. or 6 p.m. — and you're wondering if your schedule and willpower could handle the daily trek. If you're not a workout buff, is diving into a fitness fad going to be a game-changer? Here's what experts say about the pros and cons of joining the herd. Have you ever walked into a gym and wondered, What the heck am I going to do here for the next hour? Viral fitness challenges can take some of the guesswork out of your fitness routine, says personal trainer Aine Thomas of the Edge Fitness Clubs. She tells Yahoo Life that these challenges create a 'sense of structure,' making exercise less daunting overall. See for yourself — The Yodel is the go-to source for daily news, entertainment and feel-good stories. By signing up, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. For example, if you are following the 6-6-6 walking challenge, you know that you're going to get up each day and hit the pavement or treadmill. There's no mentally draining decision fatigue over whether you should go to a Pilates class or weight train. Stephen Sheehan, a personal trainer at BarBend, tells Yahoo Life that the strict rules of a viral challenge can also 'create a sense of discipline' because you're committing to returning to a specific routine, day in and day out. Stephen Darling, a member of the Mindbody + ClassPass wellness council, personal trainer and Barry's Bootcamp instructor, agrees that these challenges can also be 'great for developing habits,' particularly if you haven't previously made time for regular exercise. For example, if you're doing a challenge that requires you to hit the treadmill daily, you'll be figuring out how to fit that into your schedule — say, after work or during lunch. You've now built something into your routine you can keep up even after the challenge is done. One of the biggest motivations to participate in these viral challenges may be that so many people are doing them. 'Popular internet challenges like 75 Hard are especially helpful for those that are looking for community,' says Sheehan. The internet's an easy place to find others participating in these challenges: 75 Hard has an official Facebook group with more than 46,000 participants, and you can find participants sharing their experiences on other social media platforms like Instagram and Reddit. And that community element is significant, as research has found that people who share their fitness journey and get encouragement from others online are more likely to stick with their workout routines long term. Challenges may provide the motivation necessary to kick you into gear, but if they are extremely time-consuming, difficult or exhausting, there's a good chance you won't stick with them long term. The 75 Hard challenge, for example, involves strict rules — including one that says that missing a day means you have to start all over again. And even if you do complete an intense challenge, you could find yourself too fatigued — physically, as well as mentally — to want to continue exercising, Darling notes. That's not good for your fitness progress overall. 'Long-term success comes from building consistent, sustainable habits,' says Darling. 'An intense workout challenge can be great to kickstart things, but building positive, lasting behaviors that enhance your everyday life rather than cause stress is key.' It's also possible that a challenge may not do your body much good in the short term, either — especially if they 'don't allow for flexibility or recovery,' says Sheehan. A workout challenge where you have to do a bootcamp class 30 days in a row, for example? That's only going to cause wear and tear on your body and could even lead to injury — especially if you're new to exercising. After all, 'recovery is an essential component of daily life, with or without a workout, and should be a part of any routine,' Portia Page, a personal trainer and Balanced Body educator, tells Yahoo Life. 'Rest is necessary for muscle repair, nervous system regulation and overall progress. When a challenge ignores these principles, it could do more harm than good.' Page adds: 'Rigid challenges can encourage an all-or-nothing mindset, making people feel like failures if they miss a day. And that can cause more damage than good.' While some people may find challenges helpful, you don't need one to move more. Instead, experts say that creating sustainable habits you can take with you throughout your life is more important. "To cultivate motivation, it's essential to establish small, achievable goals that you can consistently work towards," Natalie Grimsley, founder of Lagree studio PlankHaus, tells Yahoo Life. She points out that "fitness isn't a one-size-fits-all approach" and that "our bodies and minds have unique needs influenced by various internal and external factors." Hitting these smaller, more indivualized goals can help make exercise a bigger part of our lives rather than a one-off, adds Thomas. 'Motivation is temporary, and while challenges like these can create an initial spark, they don't always lead to sustainable progress," she says. "Creating a routine where healthy choices feel natural — like brushing your teeth — is the key to progress without needing constant motivation.' Sheehan says that one way to build these habits is to aim for 'consistency over intensity.' For example, if you're looking to move more, try doing 30 days of daily movement — whether that's 'a walk, strength training or stretching,' he says. This would allow for 'rest and adjustments' based on how you're feeling. Had a tough day at work, or running on little sleep? A relaxing stroll may be what your body needs. You can save that HIIT class for when you're in a better headspace. Want some 'challenges' that can build healthy, sustainable habits? Here are some ideas: Walk for 10 minutes after lunch, which can boost your digestion and regulate your blood sugar Try one new workout per week, whether that's a YouTube dance class or a new hiking route Do some stretching and mobility exercises before bed Set a daily step goal based on your current average, then aim to increase it by 1,000 steps If the weather is nice, aim to do one outdoor exercise per week, which has additional health benefits Prioritize non-exercise movement, whether that's walking instead of driving to a store or vacuuming instead of letting a Roomba run
