3 nurses from Saran felicitated with state level award
Chhapra: Three nurses of Saran district were felicitated with
Fluorescence Nightingale Nurse Award
(2025) by
health minister Mangal Pandey
on the occasion of the
International Nurses Day
on May 12 in Patna. They are Monica, GNM of Sadar Hospital; Kavita Kumari, ANM of the Basant (Garkha) APHC; and Nandan Kumar, community health officer of health and wellness center, Pratappur under Dariyapur block in the district.
The three recipients got Rs 10000 cash each, a certificate of proficiency, and a medal in honour of their selfless service. This award has been a prestigious state level award which is given to dedicated and honest nursing workers, in the memory of Fluorescence Nightingale, mother of modern civil surgeon, Dr Sagar Dulal Sinha, said the recipients not only have served the patients but also provided emotional strength to them. They are known for coming on the time for duty, serving patients with a smile on their faces and other positivity traits.
