Campbell set to meet Dalton in regionals
CANTON, Ohio (WKBN) – On Tuesday, the regional semifinals begin as the Campbell Red Devils will take on Dalton from the historic Canton Memorial Field House as both teams are two steps away from the Final Four.
Campbell will play in its first regional semifinal matchup in three years — the seventh in school history.
The winner will play either Smithville or Kirtland on Friday at 7 p.m. for the regional crown.

Game Notes– In its district title tilt, Campbell edged LaBrae, 64-62, behind the efforts of Teyon Harris Jr. (16), Jared Colon (14) and Christo Davis (12).
-Campbell has been led this year by Sway Rodriguez, who's averaging 24.4 points as well as 6.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists. Rodriguez has gone over the 20-point mark 17 times this year, including three times over 40. Jared Colon is averaging 17.1 points and 5.8 assists per game. Teyon Harris Jr. has put together a strong stat line of 11.7 points and 8.7 boards.
-The Red Devils have won six consecutive games since a 1-point setback to Jackson-Milton on Feb. 4.
-When Campbell is able to score the ball at will, the Red Devils are ultra-successful as they've compiled a record of 16-1 when the team tallies 60 points or better.
-Dalton began the season with a 2-4 mark and lost five of six in the month of January. However, the Bulldogs turned their season around late by winning five in a row, including its 61-54 district championship victory over Grand Valley. Coy Wenger led all scorers with 20 as Brady Hignight finished with 18.
-Dalton is making its third straight appearance in the regional round.
