Sanad Oasis Flag Football Cup 2025 concluded on a high note at Active Al Maryah Island, closing out three action-packed days of elite competition, community spirit, and regional pride. As the largest flag football event in the region, the tournament once again delivered an unforgettable experience, welcoming 390 players across 26 teams from eight countries, further reinforcing Abu Dhabi's role as a growing hub for the sport. The event was honored by the attendance of distinguished guests including Mishaal Talal Al-Fahad Al Sabah, former Vice President of the Asian Federation, Mahdi Al Mutairi, President of the Kuwaiti Committee for American Football, Ebraheem Budebs, Group Head of Human Resources at Sanad, who praised the event's impact on youth engagement and community building, and Basma Abu Al Nasr, Acting CEO of Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company, who expressed pride in how the Oasis Cup has grown into a regional showcase for emerging sports and local talent. Their presence underscored the growing recognition of flag football's regional impact and the strengthening ties between sporting communities across the Gulf. Presented by Sanad, and organized by Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company, the Oasis Cup drew enthusiastic crowds and showcased the increasing popularity of flag football ahead of its Olympic debut in Los Angeles 2028. This year's tournament featured fierce competition across five divisions, with top honors going to standout teams in each category. In the Men's category, Ninjas from Dubai claimed the championship title, followed by Georgia in second place and Ambush from Abu Dhabi in third. The Women's division saw the UAE Sand Beavers take the top spot, with Boomah from Jordan securing second and the Dubai Eagles finishing third. In the Varsity category, the Muscat Mustangs emerged as champions, trailed by the Dubai Barracudas in second and the Dubai Stallions in third. In the Bantam division, the Wildcats secured first place, followed by the Barracudas in second and the Stallions in third. Finally, in the Peewee category, the Barracudas took first place, followed by the Wildcats in second and the Stallions in third.
