Karoline Leavitt enjoys family time ahead of Easter egg roll

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was seen enjoying the 2025 Easter Egg Roll on Monday, hosted by President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, with her husband Nicholas Riccio and their nine-month-old son Nico. Despite rarely being seen in public with her 59-year-old husband, she made time for this special family event. Riccio, looking youthful, wore a tan suit and purple tie as he pushed baby Nico, dressed in light blue, around the South Lawn in a stroller. The couple welcomed their first child last July. The White House's website revealed that other attractions at the even t included a Be Best Military Card Writing Station, a cookie decorating station, and a Reading Nook, courtesy of Amazon and Be Best Hopscotch. Leavitt served as a reader for the Nook. She shared a video on social media of her reading a children's book to the attending kids. Karoline Leavitt dons $600 designer dress for Trump's White House Easter Egg Roll

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made an appearance at the 2025 Easter Egg Roll on Monday, stunning in a designer, pastel-colored, baby-blue dress for the grand event. Leavitt addressed the media outside the White House in the gorgeous dress, as the annual tradition kicked off on the South Lawn. The 27-year-old leant into the spring theme as she debuted her Easter look, which appeared to be an elegant, square-neck lace dress from designer Self Portrait. The frock also included a little sparkle with bedazzled buttons and pockets, along with a thin blue belt. The dress no longer appears to be for sale, but similar dresses by the designer typically retail for over $600. It's a brand Leavitt has favored before, too, as it seems to be her go-to to wear for press conferences. She sported a sparkly white suit from the brand on February 20, per Business Insider, and a mint-green, tweed dress by the designer on March 11. This time, Leavitt paired her look with a small, diamond cross necklace and navy blue ballet flats. The dress no longer appears to be for sale, but similar dresses by the designer typically retail for over $600 The mom-of-one wore her hair down, with a few curls framing her face. Leavitt's appearance comes as both President Trump and his wife Melania are expected to welcome thousands of guests to the annual Easter event, which will include an egg hunt, of course. The couple are expected to address the crowd upon their arrival. However, this year, things look a bit different, as Trump has forgone plastic Easter eggs and instead replaced them with dozens of real eggs that have been donated by American egg farmers. Additionally, this year's event was sponsored by various corporations, including YouTube, Amazon and Meta, per NPR. The proceeds will go to the nonprofit White House Historical Association. But hunting for eggs isn't the only exciting thing that will be happening at the South Lawn event. Per The White House's website, other activities will include a Be Best Military Card Writing Station, cookie decorating station, Reading Nook, courtesy of Amazon and Be Best Hopscotch. Kids who attend the event will also get to participate in the America250 initiative, which is a leadup to the nationwide commemoration of the 250th celebration of America's founding. The America250 initiative will allow children to sign a mini Declaration of Independence and even dress up as the Founding Fathers. Leavitt is listed as a featured reader at the Reading Nook during the event, along with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and First Lady Melania, among others. It's unclear whether or not she will be joined by her family, husband Nicholas Riccio, 59, and their son, nine-month-old Nico.
