ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — The search for Allister Nasr, the 17-year-old who went missing from St. Petersburg early this month, has gone statewide. On Friday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert for Nasr, hoping to bring more attention to the case. Nasr left his home on Bayou Grande Boulevard NE at 10 a.m. on March 1 and was last seen riding a tan Beach Cruiser bicycle later that day. He had a red backpack and was wearing blue shorts, a gray sweatshirt and white shoes. The bicycle he was riding was found on Wednesday afternoon in the area of 94th Avenue North and San Martin Boulevard Northeast. ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Petersburg police say they have found a bicycle belonging to a missing teenager who went missing on March 1. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking the public for help in locating Allister Nasr, a missing 17-year-old from St. Petersburg. Close Thanks for signing up! Surveillance footage showed Allister riding his bike on 62nd Avenue Northeast near Mangrove Bay Middle School, NCMEC said. The bicycle was found Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the area of 94th Avenue North and San Martin Boulevard Northeast, south of Gandy Boulevard. Allister was last seen wearing blue shorts, a gray sweatshirt, white shoes, and a red backpack riding a tan Beach Cruiser bike. Since he was reported missing, family members have been searching for any sign of Allister. Allister's family found a note from him that raised concerns about his safety and the St. Petersburg police are now considering him endangered. Along with his family, St. Petersburg police, and NCMEC, the nonprofit We Are The Essentials is assisting in the search. The Nasr family provided NCMEC with a message they hope will reach Allister: 'If you see this, please know how much we love and miss you. You have always been the heart of our family, bringing kindness, compassion, and joy to our lives. It breaks our hearts not to share everyday moments with you—meals, laughs, or even just a simple good morning. Your grandparents, brothers, relatives, and friends are all praying for your safe return. If you're not ready to reach out directly, please just let someone know you're safe. NCMEC said to bring more attention to Allister's case, his poster is being featured on the Ring's Neighbor App as part of a partnership with NCMEC and Ring. Authorities believe Aliister may stay in the local area, or he may travel to the Fort Myers or Kissimmee, Florida, areas, NCMEC said. A reward of $20,000 is being offered for Allister's return. Allister Samer Nasr, 17, left his home on Bayou Grande Boulevard NE at 10 a.m. on March 1. He was last seen that same day riding his bike on 62nd Avenue NE. He was wearing blue shorts, a gray sweatshirt and white shoes. He was riding a tan Beach Cruiser bicycle. He also had a red backpack. For 10 days, family members have been relentlessly searching for any sign of Allister. On Tuesday, his brother Avicenne spent the day hanging flyers and canvassing neighborhoods. 'We're looking for dash camera footage, ring camera footage, anything. We want people to check their cameras and see if they've seen them anywhere around Saint Pete because at this point he's been gone for 10 days now and can be anywhere around the town,' said Avicenne Nasr. Allister's family found a note from him on Friday which raised concerns about his safety. St. Petersburg police are now considering him endangered due to concerns he may harm himself. 'It's very hard for us, but yeah, the police labeled him as endangered, so we're just trying to find him,' said Avicenne. Avicenne said the family wants anyone who spots the teen to take a photo or video and immediately report it to police. Above all he hopes Allister sees how much he's missed. 'We're hoping that he will be able to see it and hopefully try to come home because I miss him a lot and it's been hard. We've been awake, probably sleeping for only two hours a day maybe, and my dad's been definitely having a hard time with this as well,' said Avicenne.
