Odell Beckham Jr. altcasting the Champions League Final with Tom Cruise and David Beckham

Odell Beckham Jr. altcasting the Champions League Final with Tom Cruise and David Beckham Saturday afternoon brings a collaboration between Beckham Jr. and Beckham, as well as a meeting of the worlds of football and American football. Former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will join David Beckham, probably the world's most famous football/soccer player, and Tom Cruise, one of the world's most recognizable actors, to altcast the UEFA Champions League Final in Munich today. Beckham Jr. will be a guest on Beckham & Friends Live, an altcast of CBS Sports' UEFA Champions League broadcast, streamed on Paramount+. The altcast will begin at 3:00 PM ET on Saturday, May 31. Beckham, Cruise, and Beckham Jr. will watch French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain take on Italian powerhouse Inter Milan in the UCL final being staged at Allianz Arena in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Essentially, this will be akin to a soccer version of the Manningcast during Monday Night Football. An "altcast" is basically what happens when you broadcast a couple of people watching the game and having conversations with each other about what they're seeing; instead of the traditional play-by-play or color commentary on the game. It's like you and your friends watching the game in your living room or at the sports bar. It's just that in this case, Beckham Jr.'s "friends" are two of the most famous people alive. Beckham Jr., who notched a career high 16.1 yards-per-catch during the 2023 season with Baltimore, is a very avid soccer aficionado. He was also a very accomplished youth player. PSG, one of the world's richest and most powerful sports clubs, with a very unique ownership structure, is favored to win its first-ever UCL/European Cup title.

Odell Beckham Jr and Druski both deny involvement after being named in Diddy case

Odell Beckham Jr. and Druski have spoken out after being named in a lawsuit against Sean 'Diddy' Combs. Ashley Parham alleged in a filing made last October that she was drugged, kidnapped, and assaulted by multiple individuals after saying she believed the embattled music mogul had been involved in the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. The lawsuit claimed that her ordeal went on 'until eventually she had no control over body nor could she move her body.' An amended filing has now included Beckham Jr. and Druski (real name Desbordes), along with singer Jaguar Wright. Influencer and comedian Druski, 30, took to X, formerly Twitter, to share a statement denouncing what he called 'fabricated lies'. He wrote: 'This allegation is a fabricated lie. I wasn't a public figure in 2018 - I was broke living with my mom without any connections to the entertainment industry at the time of this allegation, so the inclusion of my name is truly outlandish. 'My heart breaks for actual victims of abuse, but I'm fully confident that the evidence will expose this falsehood and the individuals who are maliciously trying to game the legal system to pedal false narratives.' — DRUSKI (@druski) March 10, 2025 Replying to his post, 32-year-old former Super Bowl champion Beckham Jr. made his own stance clear, writing: 'Boy I'll tell u what. This world makes absolutely no sense. I am covered by God. He will prevail. I kno who am I , I kno who u are, keep ur head. That name will be cleared. Shxts stupid (SIC)'. Combs, 55, has been accused of trafficking three women and is awaiting trial in New York on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering - which he denies - on May 5. Last month, his lawyer Anthony Ricco filed a motion to quit, saying 'under no circumstances can I continue'. Mr Ricco, who is one of Coombs' six defense attorneys, said his decision to leave would not delay Combs' case and the trial can move forward in May. The judge will sign off on the decision if they find sufficient reason to approve it. Combs is being held at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center after being arrested in September.
