According to a post on social media by the De Pere Police Department, the only acceptable items for the drop-off box include pills or capsules without any packaging.
The following are items officers state are not accepted at the drop-off box:
Needles
Patches
Liquids
Illegal drugs
Officials say that this is not designed for businesses or clinics, and for those who are trying to dispose of needles, they should visit their local pharmacy.
