Lil Wayne Announces ‘Tha Carter VI' Tour Celebrating 20 Years Of ‘Carter' Series Classics
Lil Wayne is officially heading back out on the road, this time to celebrate the release of his forthcoming album, Tha Carter VI. The freshly announced trek will double as a victory lap shining the spotlight on 20+ years of his iconic Tha Carter album series. Tha Carter VI will arrive on June 6, 2025, and is available for pre-order here. The 34-city tour kicks off on Friday (June 6) at Madison Square Garden with his first-ever headlining show at the legendary venue. The previously announced event is designed to offer fans the exclusive first live performance of the project before the New Orleans native embarks across the continent in July. He'll be performing his hits in cities like Virginia Beach, Atlantic City, Cincinnati, Toronto, Los Angeles, and more before closing out the run in West Palm Beach on Oct. 2. Joining the No Ceilings spitter are special guests Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington across all dates and NoCap on select dates. Tickets will be available starting with artist presale beginning Wednesday (June 4). Lil Wayne Announces Tha Carter VI Tour Ahead of Album's Arrival
With Tha Carter VI set to arrive on Friday (June 6), Lil Wayne is plotting a North American tour to bring the album with him on the road later this year. Announced on Tuesday (June 3), Weezy's Tha Carter VI Tour is slated to kick off on Friday with a celebratory show at the iconic Madison Square Garden — Wayne's first time headlining the NYC arena as a solo act. A staple in the hip-hop sphere, known for his tongue-twistingly fast rhymes and signature high pitch, the rapper has now made fans wait almost seven years for a new drop.
