St Asaph's Elwy Grove Park was the setting for the 50-over encounter, with the North Wales side setting 233 for seven (Ben Beaver 49 not out, Jac Kennedy 32, Matthew Morris 3-39). Staffordshire had more than six overs to spare when they reached 235 for five (Morris 83 not out, Sam Aplin 2-44).
In the Sunday East League, Northop Thirds (Felix Hodgkinson 49) pipped Pontblyddyn Thirds (Ioan Jones 74) by a wicket in a thriller.
Three wickets apiece from Jackson Carlton-Ash and Jamie Edwards, plus Matthew Edwards' 51 retired not out, helped Northop Hall Fourth to a seven-wicket verdict versus Brymbo Fourths, while Hawarden Park Fourths (Ewan Holt 3-6) defeated Corwen Seconds by six wickets.
Despite a brilliant 101 by Harry Sprowell, Buckley Thirds lost by 30 runs to Connah's Quay Thirds. Lucas Probert took 3-44 and hit 49 for Quay, with Alfie McManus securing 4-25 for Buckley.
