KITE partners with Navy Children School to enhance digital learning
Kochi: Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) formed a strategic alliance with Navy Children School (NCS) Kochi, a leading CBSE institution under the Naval Education Society.
The formal agreement was signed between K Anvar Sadath, CEO of KITE and Commodore Ben H Berson, vice-chairperson of NCS Kochi, establishing a significant step towards digital education advancement.
According to KITE officials, the collaboration encompasses KITE's support in various educational areas, including the development of advanced AI and Robotics laboratories equipped with Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) tools to create an interactive STEM learning environment.
"KITE will also organise structured training sessions for teachers to improve their skills in digital teaching methods, ICT integration and modern classroom techniques.
The initiative aims to optimise the use of smart classroom technologies to enhance educational experiences," a senior official of KITE said.
NCS Kochi will implement KITE's successful Little KITEs IT Club programme, encouraging student innovation through practical projects in coding, robotics, and Artificial Intelligence. Students will also gain access to KITE's digital resources, including the KITE VICTERS educational channel platform, enabling them to create content and present their work to a broader audience.
