Portsmouth keeper Killip signs new deal
Portsmouth goalkeeper Ben Killip has signed a new two-year deal to stay at Fratton Park. The 29-year-old arrived from Barnsley on a short-term contract in January and started in Pompey's final two league games of the season. Advertisement Killip played for Chelsea and Norwich City's youth sides before a stay at Hartlepool United and then a move to the Tykes where he made 36 appearances. He has also represented the England C side. "We're delighted that Ben will be remaining at the club and our goalkeeping options look particularly strong," Portsmouth boss John Mousinho said. "He complements the other guys we have here really well and that competition should bring out the best in all of them. "We saw what Ben was capable of in those two games at the end of last season and I'm looking forward to working with him once more when the players report back later this month."

Hull finale unlikely to feel flat
There was very much an end-of-term feel at a muted Hillsborough. I suspect both sides will be happy enough with a 1-1 draw. It was a big day for Harvey Blair, his first start since the 6-1 humiliation at Stoke earlier in the season. He underlined his potential with his first senior goal but remains a work in progress. Advertisement Goalkeeper Ben Killip hasn't even been on the bench since arriving in January and was a surprise starter. He had no chance with Wednesday's goal and put in a very tidy performance. All in all, a decent point on the road. Next week's finale is highly unlikely to feel flat. Pompey face relegation-threatened Hull, who are managed by former Southampton boss Ruben Selles. Ex-Pompey loanee Abu Kamara is also likely to feature.
