Steven Krueger spills on possible ‘Yellowjackets' Season 4 — and teases Coach Ben's return
Don't be shocked if you catch a glimpse of Coach Ben Scott in the looming 'Yellowjackets' Season 4. While the next season of the beloved thriller has not been announced, Steven Krueger (Coach Ben) exclusively told The Post, 'I know in my heart that it's a thing that's going to happen,' and he'll be ready to return to the franchise in any capacity despite his character being killed off in Season 3. In Episode 6, Coach Ben meets his fate after being tortured by the 'Yellowjackets' soccer team, who hold their previous mentor captive and cut his Achilles tendon before he's shown mercy by teen Natalie (Sophie Thatcher). Advertisement After pleading for her to kill him so he's not executed by the team, Thatcher's character puts Coach Ben out of his misery by murdering him in a poetic death that was hard for the viewers and the 'Yellowjackets' stars to stomach. 10 Steven Krueger as Ben Scott in 'Yellowjackets.' Advertisement 'If we've seen one thing from the show, we know that just because a character dies [it] is not necessarily the last time you're going to see their face,' he teased. 'So I certainly would not be surprised if if we got some like ghost of Coach Ben stuff, or even a flashback here and there, coming up in the in the future seasons.' 'Yellowjackets' creators, husband and wife duo Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, shared in the past that they pitched a five-season plan for the series. However, there's been no news about a Season 4 — but Krueger, as well as several of his co-stars, are confident that the show will continue. 10 Steven Krueger told The Post he's confident 'Yellowjackets' will return for another season. 10 Kailey Schwerman/SHOWTIME Advertisement 10 He also shared his ideas about how his character Coach Ben Scott could make a comeback. Safety experts remind drivers about ‘Move Over Law' after three workers killed on I-91
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Every day, emergency vehicles and tow trucks hit busy roads and highways to respond to reports of accidents or other emergencies. But, they're often put in danger themselves constantly faced with the risk of being hit by a passing vehicle while on the job. Three dead, driver arrested following crash on I-91 ramp in West Springfield 'It takes a quick second for someone not to be paying attention and veer into the lane where we're working for disaster to strike,' said Operations Manager for Red's Towing, Ben Scott. This risk was tragically realized when three workers were struck and killed while working to repair damaged guardrails on I-91 North. And Red Towing in West Springfield seeing similar close calls way too often. 'There's been many instances of jumping guardrails, close calls, clippings. Luckily, we've been okay. Nobody's gotten hurt. But yeah, there's been a lot of close calls,' said Scott. The towing company tells 22News that a towing operator is injured once every 5 days on average. Between 2020 to 2024 there were nearly 10-thousand crashes there involving work zones, according to AAA. 28 people were killed in those crashes and almost 2-thousand people suffered from injuries. 'By the time they come upon that work crew or that first responder or that tow truck, they're going too fast and it's too late to react appropriately,' said AAA Northeast spokesperson, Mark Scheildrop. To prevent further tragedies, the Massachusetts Move Over Law' is now being stressed to drivers. Experts say in multilane roadways, if you see the flashing lights of an emergency vehicle or towing truck near the side of the road, slow down and move over into the next lane if possible. 'We should be doing it out of practice and just out of courtesy of other people treating anybody on the roadside like it's one of our family members,' said Scheildrop. AAA hopes if more people follow this law it will protect those who protect us by giving them space to work safely. Failure to comply with the law can result in a fine of up to $100.
