A puppy who suffered a traumatic injury during the Los Angeles wildfires has reason to celebrate, after he has finally healed enough to start looking for his forever home. According to the Best Friends Animal Society, who initially found the poor pooch with a serious jaw injury, nobody knows exactly how Nicky was hurt.
According to them, Nicky was discovered with a jaw injury that left him practically unable to open his mouth. After roughly five weeks of treatment, Nicky now has much more mobility in his face. Though, he will still require some special care once he finds his forever home, the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center says that he's absolutely ready to take the next steps on his healing journey by finding a family to call his to a profile the Best Friends Animal Society posted on their website for Nicky, the pooch has a love for some typically doggo favorites. From car rides to getting his zoomies out in the yard, Nicky loves to do it all.
He also has an amazing disposition as well. People magazine notes that Nicky is a regular at the playgroups at the rescue, and his high energy personality will be the perfect fit for someone who likes staying active.
