The Neighborhood Stages 2 Broke Girls Reunion — and Brings Back Character We Haven't Seen Since Season 1
It's a Williamsburg Diner reunion!
CBS on Friday released photos from the April 28 episode of The Neighborhood, which reunites Beth Behrs (fka Caroline Channing) with 2 Broke Girls co-star, Garrett Morris (fka Earl Washington).

The episode also doubles as a reunion for both Morris and Cedric The Entertainer (who guest-starred on 2BG as Earl's son Darius), and Morris and Tichina Arnold (who starred opposite the SNL legend on the Fox classic Martin).
In the episode, titled 'Welcome to the Yippedy-Dip,' the Butlers visit a nostalgic, rundown restaurant from Calvin's childhood and encounter its owner, Jasper (Morris).
The guest star-studded installment also marks the return of Marilu Henner as Dave's politically incorrect mother Paula, whose one and only previous appearance came in Season 1, Episode 8 ('Welcome to Thanksgiving'). This will mark the first time that Henner shares scenes with Max Greenfield's on-screen father, recurring guest star Kevin Pollak (aka Lamar).
The Neighborhood was previously renewed for an eighth and final season — and has not one, but two potential spinoffs on the way: Tracy Morgan's Crutch, which received a straight-to-series order at Paramount+, and an as-yet-untitled Malcolm and Marty spinoff on CBS. The latter, which has not yet received a series order, will air a backdoor pilot on Monday, May 5, that doubles as The Neighborhood's Season 7 finale.
In an Instagram post on March 10, Behrs expressed how 'grateful' she was that The Neighborhood would get the proper goodbye that 2 Broke Girls never did; you can read that in full here.
