Health talk about pelvic health during and after pregnancy
University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) is hosting a health talk about pelvic health during and after pregnancy.
This event will take place on Monday, March 10, at 5.30pm.
It will feature three brief presentations, each focusing on a different aspect of pelvic health.
Topics covered will include an introduction to pelvic floor health, pelvic health during pregnancy and postnatal pelvic health.

The event will also provide a brief update on the new maternity and neonatal unit set to open soon at the BEACH Building.
The presentations will be led by Sally Sheppard, UHD's service lead for pelvic health physiotherapy and Beth Fletcher, UHD's public health lead midwife.
Kerry Taylor, UHD's head of midwifery, will conclude the event with an update on maternity services.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the presenters.
The health talk will take place in the lecture theatre at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
UHD has made provisions for those unable to attend the event in person.
Recordings of each presentation will be made available on the UHD website for later viewing.
This initiative reflects UHD's commitment to providing relevant information and support to individuals during their pregnancy journey and in the first 12 months following delivery.
