Beth Peers, winning only her second cap, then added to the goal she scored in the opening 3-3 draw against Italy, doubling Wales' lead with six minutes remaining.
The victory put Johnson's side top of Pool B in advance of France playing their second fixture against Italy later on Tuesday.
Czechia are bottom of the table, having lost their opening match 3-0 against the French side who are Wales' final opponents in the group stage on Thursday.
