Shell station celebrates winner of ‘Kembara Lebih Jauh' campaign

PENAMPANG (May 19): A jubilant atmosphere filled Shell Penampang Bypass yesterday afternoon as the station hosted a special celebration for Kembara Lebih Jauh with Shell Week Two winner, Betsy Kewa Mikal.
The event, held from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, honoured Betsy's inspiring win in the national campaign organised by Shell Malaysia, which ran from March 22 to May 9, 2025. Betsy, who hails from Penampang, rode away with a brand-new Honda RS150R 150cc motorcycle as her prize.
'I'm truly surprised and overjoyed to be the Week Two winner of the Kembara Lebih Jauh with Shell campaign,' said an emotional Betsy.
'This amazing news couldn't have come at a better time — just as we're celebrating Kaamatan with family and friends. It feels like a double celebration! Thank you, Shell, for making this season truly meaningful and unforgettable.'
The event was attended by Betsy's family and well-wishers, turning the award presentation into a warm community celebration. A key highlight was the symbolic presentation of the motorcycle, officiated by Tuan Yakub Tuarang, District Manager of Shell Mobility Malaysia.
