Meghan Markle dances the night away at Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour in Los Angeles - as Prince Harry awkwardly shuffles in a cowboy hat
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted enjoying the fifth night of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour in California on Friday in a sweet behind-the-scenes snap. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among thousands of fans who crowded into the SoFi Stadium yesterday as the artist performed her last show in Los Angeles before heading to Chicago. Afterwards, Beyoncé shared a photograph of the royals on her website, capturing the grinning couple as they cosied up inside the luxurious VIP lounge. Fans also snuck clips of Prince Harry from nearby seats, with the Duke of Sussex seen somewhat awkwardly shuffling around as his wife danced in front of him. Both the Duke and Duchess were dressed to theme for the Cowboy Carter Tour, with Harry donning a dark green, wide rimmed hat, dark jeans and casual grey jacket. Meghan dressed up in a tight-fitting denim dress, which she wore off-the-shoulder. She wore her hair up for the night, and was later spotted wearing her husband's hat as the concert amped up with a remixed rendition of Texas Hold 'Em. The Halo singer - who kicked off her tour just over year and a half after she wrapped up her whirlwind Renaissance World Tour — has welcomed Harry and Meghan to her shows previously. In 2023, the royals attended the Renaissance World Tour also at the SoFi Stadium, where Prince Harry once again appeared less than impressed - and more interested in his phone. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had attended the concert to celebrate the 67th birthday of Meghan's mother Doria Ragland. And this was far from the first time the royal couple had crossed paths with Beyoncé. In fact, in 2019, Queen Bey accepted a Brit Award in front of a portrait showing Meghan as a royal version of the Mona Lisa. In a post explaining why they had decided to put Meghan in the frame, the power couple wrote: 'In honour of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.' Fans also snuck clips of Prince Harry from nearby seats, with the Duke of Sussex seen somewhat awkwardly shuffling around as his wife danced in front of him Beyoncé publicly praised Meghan's bravery after the Sussexes' bombshell interview with Oprah, during which the Duchess claimed to have been subjected to racist treatment within the Royal Family. Beyoncé posted on her website: 'Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.' In one episode of their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex claimed to have received a supportive text from Queen Bey. She told the camera crew: 'Beyoncé just texted, just checking in... I still can't believe she knows who I am…' She said she wants me to feel safe and protected. 'She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.' The couples previously had a cringe-inducing meeting with the pop megastar and her husband Jay-Z during The Lion King premiere in 2019. The famous couples met up on the red carpet and engaged in small talk, with Beyoncé reportedly calling Meghan 'my princess'. However, things took an awkward turn when the Sussexes spoke to the film's director Jon Favreau and appeared to ask him if there were any voiceover roles available for Meghan. Video of the encounter showed Beyoncé covering her face before uncomfortably looking away, with social media users suggesting she was cringing over the exchange. There was to be a similar exchange later in the evening when Prince Harry touted his wife's acting chops to Disney CEO Bob Iger. During conversation, Harry asks: 'You do know she does voiceovers?' Iger can be heard replying: 'Ah, I did not know that.' Harry then responds: 'You seem surprised. She's really interested.' The Disney chief then says: 'We'd love to try. That's a great idea.'

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – FEBRUARY 11: (L-R) Blue Ivy Carter, Jay-Z and Rumi Carter attend the Super Bowl LVIII Pregame at Allegiant Stadium, 2024. (Photo byfor Roc Nation) Recently, Rumi Carter graced the stage for the first time on the opening night of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour. While her older sister, Blue Ivy Carter, 13, has been a scene-stealing regular in her mother's dance ensemble since her Renaissance era—and continues to grow in pop-culture relevance with each new step—Rumi has mostly stayed out of the spotlight until now. With astronomically famous parents and a rising starlet for a sister, she already has a legacy built up for her. So, what should we know about Beyoncé's youngest daughter as she begins to follow in her family's footsteps? Read on for everything we know about the youngest Carter daughter. (Photo credit VALERIE MACON/AFP via Getty Images) 'We have been blessed twice over,' said Beyoncé in her pregnancy announcement Instagram post in 2017. On June 13th of the same year, Rumi and Sir were born, and the Carters became a family of five. Rumi was named after the couple's favourite poet—a Persian artist of the same name—while their son 'just carries himself like that [a Sir]' according to Jay-Z. His grandmother, Tina Knowles, has said that Sir is not as interested in the spotlight as his sisters and is on the quieter side. However, his mother still includes him, featuring pictures of him and his sisters on screen during her blockbuster shows. She has been kept out of the limelight until now ATLANTA, GEORGIA – AUGUST 11: Blue Ivy Carter and Beyoncé perform onstage during the 'RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR' at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/WireImage for Parkwood) Beyoncé and Jay-Z have mostly kept their twins out of the spotlight, with only a few public appearances since 2017. The pop icon explained in an interview with GQ that this has been intentional. 'I've worked extremely hard on making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible,' she said. However, she commented that as they have gotten older, 'the more they become their own individuals,' and revealed that her kids follow her to the studio, to dance rehearsals, and just about everywhere else she goes. 'She's a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage,' she revealed about her daughter's desire to join her. 'Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously and she earned it.' It seems that Rumi has now hit the same milestone as Blue with her recent stage debut. She is following in her sister's footsteps LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 02: Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Blue Ivy Carter attend the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo byfor The Recording Academy) In 2019, at age 7, Blue became the youngest female artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to her feature on Beyoncé's 'Brown Skin Girl'. However, just last year Rumi broke this record, featuring on 'Protector' from the Cowboy Carter album at just age 6. It was for this track that she joined Beyoncé and Blue on stage for the first time recently, hugging her mother while being serenaded. It was not only a debut, but a beautiful family moment sure to melt even the coldest of hearts. Tina Knowles commented on the sentimental scene with some insight. 'The way she watches Blue and mirrors her every move… You can tell she's taking notes. She doesn't just want to join the legacy… she wants to SLAY it too!' She already has a star personality NEW YORK, NEW YORK – SEPTEMBER 04: Solange Knowles is seen leaving Harper's Bazaar Cocktail Party during New York Fashion Week, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Gilbert Carrasquillo/GC Images) According to her grandmother, Rumi is the more dominant of the twins, already displaying a strong personality. She went on to say that Rumi reminds her of Solange, Beyoncé's younger sister. Knowles also described her as 'an amazing artist, painter, and creator' who is just as enveloped in creativity and fashion as the rest of her family. It makes sense, then, that despite her age, she has made a few appearances over the years. These include an Ivy Park campaign, the 2022 Black Is King visual album, and the promotional content of Mufasa: The Lion King . With her natural charisma and the creative mentors she has in her family, we're sure to see great things from the joint-youngest. Prior to releasing the album, Beyoncé got candid about creating the five-year project and alluded to her 2016 performance at the CMA Awards. It was met with an icy reception. "This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn't," she wrote on Instagram.
