Grateful for the madness, the magic, and the memories.' Currently, Bhooth Bangla is one of the much-talked-about films of Akshay Kumar as it marks his reunion with Priyadarshan after fourteen years. Known for delivering cult classic comedy capers, the audiences are sure that Akshay and Priyadarshan are poised to maintain their graph of delivering a laughter riot all over again. Besides Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi, Bhooth Bangla also stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, Jaaved Jaaferi and many others in key roles. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. It is scheduled to land in theatres on April 2, 2026. People say that you are the reason Akshay (does comedy), but I don't believe in all those things. What I did was exploit his sense of humour (on screen). We are working after 14 years and I hope things will work. It's a challenge. We can't match the expectations (of the audience) but I'm trying my best,' the filmmaker told PTI in an interview.
