Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for her debut Telugu film, Jatadhara. This supernatural thriller film wrapped up its scheduled 50-day shooting, which was started in February. Produced by Prerna Arora, this film promises a groundbreaking cinematic experience, as it aims to redefine genre storytelling in Telugu and Hindi cinema. On Thursday, May 29, Sonakshi Sinha took to Instagram stories to share a poster of the film, originally posted by Zee Studios. Sharing the post, the actress congratulated the entire team and wrote, 'Congratulations, team, on the film wrap of #Jatadhara! Can't wait for this one!" The original post featured a poster of the film, where Sonakshi was seen appearing in a mysterious, regal look. With dramatic eye makeup and heavy gold jewellery, Sonakshi strongly resembles depictions of a fierce goddess. The film promises action-packed scenes with elements of mystery and historical intrigue. The film casts Sudheer Babu in the leading role and brings together a bunch of talented actors, including Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, Ravi Prakash and Naveen Neni, who will be seen in other prominent roles. Along with them, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Shreya Sharma, Jhansi and Rajeev Kanakala will also appear in this film. Alongside Jatadhara, Sonakshi Sinha-starrer psychological thriller Nikita Roy is also set to hit the theatres this year. Directed by her brother Kussh Sinha, Nikita Roy was scheduled to release on May 30 but was postponed to June 27. The reason behind this delay has not yet been revealed by the makers. Produced under the banner of Bhagnani Films, Kratos Entertainment and Nikita Pai Films, this psychological thriller explores the themes of vulnerability, mysticism and psychological tension.
