Stock market update: Nifty Auto index advances 0.24% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index traded positive around 11:16AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market. Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd.(up 2.25 per cent), Bharat Forge Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 0.72 per cent), Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(up 0.67 per cent) and TVS Motor Company Ltd.(up 0.57 per cent) were among the top gainers. MRF Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent), Ashok Leyland Ltd.(down 0.24 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.16 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.03 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Auto index was up 0.24 per cent at 23493.9 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 27.55 points at 24724.9, while the BSE Sensex was down 52.87 points at 81259.45. Live Events Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, IFCI, Reliance Power, MMTC and Sagility India were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of IFB Agro, Quality Power Electr, Shree Global, Kavita Fabrics and Shanti Overseas hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Lasa Supergenerics, Bharat Rasayan, Orchid Pharma, Borana Weaves and Tantia Const hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.

Stock market update: Nifty Auto index falls 0.57% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index traded negative around 11:22AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market. ADVERTISEMENT Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent), Bharat Forge Ltd.(up 0.15 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.11 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers. Exide Industries Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent), Tube Investments of India Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) and MRF Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Auto index was down 0.57 per cent at 23626.9 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 106.96 points at 24894.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 371.46 points at 81804.99. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.
