Hero MotoCorp's premium maxi-scooter, the Xoom 160 was launched in the Indian market in January 2025. However, the deliveries of the scooters are yet to begin. Reports suggest the scooter will start reaching consumers between August and September 2025. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, the Xoom 160 combines rugged styling with comfort. Design & Positioning: The Xoom 160 was launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, marking Hero's entry into the maxi-scooter market to compete with models like the Yamaha Aerox 155. It features a rugged design with muscular bodywork, a tall windscreen, and a single-piece seat, along with a distinctive split LED headlight. Pricing & Tech Features: The Hero Xoom 160 is priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with features like alloy wheels, disc brakes, ABS, keyless ignition, a digital instrument cluster, and LED lights. Hero has designed it to be a well-equipped scooter with modern technology. Delivery Timeline & Booking Status: Sales faced some delays when bookings were temporarily stopped and dealers received no stock, despite plans for deliveries in April.

VinFast VF6 was showcased in the country at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, earlier this year, as one of the introductory products from the brand in India. It is available in two variants globally, which are Eco and Plus. The VF6 Eco gets a 59.6 kWh battery pack that promises 250 Nm of maximum torque and a range of up to 410 kilometres on a full charge. The Plus trim offers up to 379 kilometres of range on a single charge and 310 Nm of maximum torque. Speaking of the features, it gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system on a driver-oriented dashboard, heated and ventilated front seats, a heads-up display and rear AC vents among others. Upon launch, it would challenge the Tata Curvv EV. The VinFast VF7 is another car showcased by the Vietnamese EV manufacturer at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 alongside its other siblings. This premium electric SUV comes with a 75.3 kWh battery pack. The top-spec trim of the EV is capable of churning out 500 Nm of maximum torque. Power is channelled to all four wheels. There is a single motor variant that offers up to 450 kilometres of range on a full charge, while the latter with dual motor claims 431 kilometres of range on a single charge. The electric SUV, which is available in two different battery pack choices and six different trim options, have been witnessing high demand amid the growing popularity of electric cars in the country. Hyundai has revealed that it is getting maximum demand for the Creta Electric's higher-spec Excellence LR variant that is powered by a 51.4 kWh battery pack. Interestingly, the South Korean automaker is not the only car manufacturer in India in terms of seeing top-end demand for its EVs, with both Tata Motors and Mahindra too echoing similar sentiments in terms of recording demand for their respective electric cars. Some of these key features include the dual digital screens comprising a touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster, Level 2 ADAS suite, powered driver's seat with ventilation, V2L (vehicle-to-load), connected car technology, Bose sound system, and a panoramic sunroof, among others. Hyundai Creta EV is the brand's first-ever locally produced electric car. Buoyed by the positive consumer response for this electric SUV, Hyundai is now working on the Carens Clavis EV, which will come as an EV version of the recently launched Carens Clavis. Hyundai Creta Electric: What the Excellence LR trim offers At the exterior, the Excellence LR trim of the Hyundai Creta Electric gets features such as quad beam LED headlamps, horizon LED positioning lamp and DRLs, LED high mounted stop lamp, LED tail lamps, rear horizon LED lamp, LED turn signal with sequential function, LED turn indicators on ORVMs, charging port with multi-colour surround light and the state-of-charge (SOC) indicator. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara was first unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. (ANI) Maruti Suzuki is all geared up to launch the e Vitara in the Indian and export markets. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara was first unveiled to the Indian audiences at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 held in New Delhi. Being Maruti Suzuki's first-ever all-electric SUV it grabbed numerous eyeballs at the show. In a recently held press conference, R.C. Bhargava, the Chairman of Maruti Suzuki, confirmed that the deliveries of the e Vitara will begin in India by September 2025. The company officials also informed the press that the manufacturer has plans to produce about 70,000 EV units this year. Out of the planned 70,000 units, most of the units will be reserved for export markets. The remaining units will be sold domestically to test the Indian market as per demand. Maruti Suzuki also confirmed that it does not have any plans to sell the electric vehicles through specialised dealerships and will be utilising its current capacity for sales. Another SUV is coming soon In further conversation, Chairman R.C. Bhargava also affirmed that Maruti Suzuki will be adding another SUV to its portfolio later this year. There have been multiple reports of the seven-seater version of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara being spotted testing on Indian roads. This upcoming SUV could possibly be the seven-seater Grand Vitara. In the spy shots, the Grand Vitara seven-seater was seen having a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system that will support the wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other changes are also expected in the cabin of the Grand Vitara seven-seater, including a slightly redesigned dashboard along with a new colour shade and possibly a new upholstery.
