Fresh off the Cannes red carpet, Mouni Roy is making fashion waves (again). Whether it's a big event or a themed photoshoot, the Bhootni actor knows how to top the sartorial charts. On another page of her fashion diaries, Mouni Roy embraced the 'noir' aesthetic. She slipped into a breathtaking gown from the shelves of designer label Alpana Neeraj. Her OOTD featured a black corseted top with a sweetheart neckline. The strapless wonder was a fitted masterpiece that hugged Mouni in all the right places. Silver sequinned geometric patterns adorned the bodice and looked beautiful. Sparkly, bejewelled elements added the right amount of pizzazz to the outfit. Mouni Roy breaks her silence on alleged surgery, troll comments and AI videos; says 'People are writing vicious things just to get likes'
Mouni Roy has been recently promoting her upcoming movie Bhootni, the actress yet again addressed the rumours of cosmetic surgery, and the comments on her posts which were beyond being disrespectful. In a conversation with Zoom, Mouni reacted to the trolls and botox comments. Mouni shared how there have been AI Videos of her making rounds on the Internet, she said, "Initially, when I read those comments… till date, sometimes I see those AI videos, and suddenly you feel… it's so cringe, you can't… and it's yourself, right? Imagine how you feel looking at somebody else. And when I see my face distorted over other people's bodies, it's disgusting, right? So sometimes you do feel like, where are these kinds of people going… What do they want to achieve with it? What is the aim? Because all you are collecting are people's curses and bad wishes. Nobody can wish well for someone who's doing that." She further reacted to the trolls and the comments they had been passing on her appearance, 'Initially, when I'd come on Instagram and I'd get a lot of hate, I'd actually make the effort of going to their profiles and blocking them… Now I feel very pitiful. I feel you should pray for them. These are phantom people, hiding behind their screens, writing all these things. You can either be a glass-half-full or glass-half-empty person. I can't negate the love I receive from my fans… I genuinely feel that section of the internet, like socials, has become a very, very nasty place because people are genuinely just writing rubbish and vicious things about others just to get likes." When Palak Tiwari 'stalked' a guy on Instagram and ended up dating him — and no it's not Ibrahim Ali Khan!
Palak Tiwari is slowly but surely building her body of work in the industry. Now while she does stay in the news either due to her daring sartorial choices or the fact that she is consistently linked to Ibrahim Ali Khan, one thing neither she nor her rumoured beau are yet to tip a nod to, is the latter. In a recent chat with Zoom though — in lieu of promoting her next release Bhootni — saw her get candid about how when she wants something she truly goes after it. Now you best believe she still (virtually) hunted him down and even ended up dating him! She shared, "So there was this guy, and I was like, 'Oh sh*t, he's so cute'. When I spot a guy, and I think he's cute, I need to know who he is. But I didn't know anything, not even his name, nothing. I had just seen him once, and I knew I needed to find out. This person posted a story with him but didn't tag him. And they were following 2,000 people. You best believe I scrolled through all 2,000 names to find his name and username. I sent it to my friend. This was just for me…I wouldn't have done it for anyone else. But yes, it did work out till it did". That being said, one can only expect Palak to make such vague references to her love life. During a previous chat with Filmfare, the budding actor had candidly shared why she'd rather keep her matters of the heart, entirely out of the limelight. She said, "At this stage of my career, I don't want my romantic life to be a topic of conversation when I'm trying to make a name for myself. That just reduces you to a headline. Also, I don't like people's opinions about something I feel strongly about. If I'm in a relationship, I obviously feel strongly about it. I wouldn't want people commenting on it, and I wouldn't want to read those opinions. That's why I'd keep it private". Bhootni, which will feature Palak along side Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy and Sunny Singh, is scheduled for a release on May 1.
