Aldi's Fan-Favorite German Week Is Finally Back, and Shoppers Are Already Stocking Up
Gute Neuigkeiten, Leute! That is to say: good news, everybody! Starting April 30, Aldi is bringing back a fan favorite event: German Week. As those who live and breathe Aldi already know, this is the bi-annual sale where the grocer showcases its German goods as a nod to their heritage (Aldi is a German company, afterall).
The event generally takes place in the Spring and the Fall, though it seems they sometimes also sneak in an extra one around the December holidays. Seeing as Aldi tends to rotate its items a la their sister store, Trader Joe's, shoppers look forward to the sales event to stock up on all their favorite German goodies.
Plenty of loyal Aldi shoppers are already fawning over the news over on Aldi's Instagram page.
'Can't wait to pick up the Bienenstich and the Donauwalle indulgent cakes this week!' said one fan.
'I need to stack up on their German granola,' said another.

Some fans are especially looking forward to one product: Peanut butter puffs.
'Love those peanut butter puff puffs too and so does my German husband 👏👏,' said one commentor, while another added, 'Peanut puffs 🤣 I've been searching for these everywhere... my snacking prayers have been answered lol 😂😂😂😂'
Aside from these items, there are plenty of other German treats to look forward to, including Egg Spaetzle, German Style Pickles, Dark and/or Milk Chocolate Wafer Rolls, Doppelino Cookies, Spritz Cookies, and Doppel Keks.
Love for German Week goes back years, and fans have been showing off their Aldi hauls for the special event for just as long.
In 2023, @germangirlinamerica showed her followers all the goodies she found.
'My best score? EISWEIN! (I doubt you'll find it in every store... I just saw it by chance in the refrigerated section),' she said on her Instagram.
Another fan, @ingurland, also posted about her German Week finds back in 2020.
'Hello #aldigermanweek!!! I got to the car, took a bite and blacked out. When I came to half of the packet was missing👀,' she said of the Orange Jaffa Cakes.
