While staying at the Majestic City Retreat Hotel, Pant found himself surrounded by unexpected 'desi" comfort. He shared a reel capturing the city's modern skyline, which quickly transitions to the hotel's Indian interiors, starting with a Big Bazaar-branded wall clock inside the gym and a breakfast spread featuring none other than poha.
The hotel's breakfast buffet seemed tailor-made for the Indian palate, featuring an impressive spread of parathas, rajma, dosa, and even a Jain version of poha. Clearly, the hotel has taken note of its desi guests' preferences. In the reel's voiceover, Pant humorously remarked on the abundance of Indian food, joking that homesickness was unlikely to strike anyone staying there.
But the desi experience didn't stop at the food. The hotel's televisions aired Hindi news channels, helping guests stay connected with current affairs back home. Even the bathrooms came with a surprise rarely found in Western-style accommodations, a bidet and jet spray.
