School eco squad collects five bags of litter from New Forest
Pupils from Moyles Court School found a car number plate during a litter pick.
The eco squad and junior school pupils collected five bin bags of rubbish from around the New Forest on Thursday, April 24.
They found used nappies, picnic crockery and plastic bottles.
Concerned by the growing number of discarded dog poo bags, the school is urging dog walkers to take greater responsibility.
The school said: "We are extremely proud to be nurturing young citizens who care deeply about their environment."

Eco squad's clean-up helps Moyles Court School maintain Green Flag status (Image: Moyles Court School) The pupils' efforts contributed to the school earning the Green Flag Accreditation with distinction in July 2024.
The school is planning to apply for the accolade again this year.
The school is also inviting people to join its third Big Book Giveaway at the Ringwood Eco Fair on Saturday, May 10.
This event offers an opportunity to donate unused books and discover new ones.
The school says the aim is to ensure there are no barriers to accessing books.
It said: "Our aim is to inspire a love of reading in everyone, ensuring there are no barriers to accessing books."
Book donations can be delivered to the school, addressed to Mrs Potter or brought on the day.
