Ain Edruce and Sherry Alhadad enjoy recording their first Eid song

28 Mar - It was a no-brainer to Ain Edruce when she was offered to record an Eid duet with Sherry Alhadad, as the TV personality believed that it was a challenge that she has to take. The "Melodi" host and the "Big Stage" personality, who spoke to the media to promote their first ever collaborative song, "Balik Kampung... Gosip Raya", shared that they experienced no awkwardness as they have repeatedly worked together as hosts prior to releasing the song. "The funny thing is that we would be confused with our own vocals. Even during the recording, we were unable to differentiate our vocals," said Ain. Meanwhile, Sherry said that the song might sound simple but that it has its own message. "Wouldn't it be better if we focus on enjoying the Eid dishes rather than gossiping about other people? If you don't want to become a gossip fodder, you should listen to this song and learn its lesson," she said. As to why they decided to record an Eid song, Sherry said that they would usually sing other people's Eid songs whenever they have to host any Eid related events. "So, we thought wouldn't it be fun if we have our own song? So, I immediately said yes when the offer came," she added. The music video has already reached more than 200,000 views since its release on YouTube earlier this week. (Photo Source: Ain Edruce IG)
