Nebraska's Jordy Bahl named Big Ten Player and Pitcher of the Year, first time in conference history player has won both honors in same season
LINCOLN, Neb. (KCAU) – Nebraska softball two-way talent Jordy Bahl made history, becoming the first player to earn both the Big Ten Player and Pitcher of the Year awards in the same season.
Bahl is just the fourth player in conference history to win both awards in their career.
The Nebraska native currently sits in the top 15 nationally in 13 different statistical categories, boasting a .467 batting average and 19 regular season home runs to go with 243 strikeouts and a 1.46 ERA.
