Michelle Bridges reveals how long she has been single following her messy split with Steve 'Commando' Willis
Michelle Bridges has revealed just how long she's been living the single life following her split with Steve 'Commando' Willis. The fitness guru, 54, and her former Biggest Loser co-star, 48, split back in 2020 after five years together. Michelle revealed this week that she has not been in a relationship since her high-profile split. The admission came when Michelle was commenting on a post from influencer Abbie Chatfield. In it, Abbie was telling followers not to waste their time with men who 'feel threatened' by women recognising the patriarchy. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'If they are threatened, you are signing yourself up for time wasted trying to make yourself smaller for HIS comfort,' Abbie captioned her video. 'You would rather NOT be picked than be picked by a man who sees you as less than.' Jumping into the comments, Michelle revealed that she was enjoying her years of singledom. '5yrs of being with me. Best years of my life,' Michelle wrote, augmenting the admission with a love heart emoji. The comment resonated with Abbie's followers, with many replying in support of the fitness maven. 'Same here, high five,' one responded, while another jumped in with a similar: 'This is everything.' A third added: 'Yes!! 8 years for I can't wait for 8 more!!' It was a sentiment Michelle echoed to Who magazine in 2024, admitting that a relationship was not on her radar. 'I just feel very independent and I really like it, and no, I'm not looking for love. At all. I haven't been able to date in four and a half years. I'm good with that,' she said. 'I feel empowered by being independent. It's the longest I've been on my own, and I don't plan on changing that any time soon.' The famous duo debuted their romance on the red carpet in May 2013, shortly after announcing splits from their respective partners at the time. They welcomed their son Axel in December 2015 and later announced their split in 2020, the same year Michelle was convicted for drunk driving. Michelle blew 0.086 when she was pulled over in her Range Rover with Axel in the car at about 11.25am on Australia Day 2020. In 2021, the former Biggest Loser star told Good Weekend magazine she suffered her fair share of 'dark' days following her split from Steve. 'I felt very alone,' she said. 'To be honest, it was the hardest time of my life, ever, leading up to what happened. I felt like I was in a fog, and I didn't know what was happening.' Speaking on the Mental As Anyone podcast in 2024, Michelle spoke about the challenges of co-parenting Axel with Steve. 'It is challenging. It comes with its challenges but the sentence has always got to start in Axel's best interests, that's how I go into it every time,' she said. She said when her and Willis make co-parenting decisions they think, 'Okay, what is going to be the best thing for him.' 'His dad and I were both there today at his poetry recital. We both play an active role. I am the major caregiver. 'I'm with him probably 95 per cent of the time, but his dad is there, and that's really important for him, for his mental health, that he can see that his parents are working towards everything for him. 'But, yeah, it's not without its challenges, ask any parent that is co-parenting, it is a work in progress.' Steve, meanwhile, has since moved on with current girlfriend Harika Vancuylenberg. Aside from sharing Axel with Michelle, Steve also has three children Briana, 25, Ella, 16, Jack, 13, from a previous relationship.

Jillian Michaels unloads on US involvement in Ukraine, questions who really benefits from the war
Jillian Michaels gave her take on America funding the ongoing war in Ukraine, sitting down with Fox News' Sean Hannity for a wide-ranging podcast interview. "What are we doing there?" the former "Biggest Loser" trainer asked. "We don't [have any benefit], but who does? The Dick Cheneys of the world do. The Larry Finks of the world do." Michaels' words came days after President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Oval Office meeting erupted into a shouting match, resulting in the cancelation of the signing ceremony for a minerals deal between the two countries and Zelenskyy being kicked out of the White House. Jillian Michaels Doesn't Believe Rfk Jr. Can Be 'Corrupted,' Truly 'Wants To Make America Healthy Again' Citing Zelenskyy's behavior, Trump paused all military aid to Ukraine. A senior Trump administration official told Fox News that military aid will remain on hold until Ukrainian leaders show a commitment to good-faith peace negotiations. Read On The Fox News App While Michaels holds a negative view of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who propelled the region into war by invading Ukraine in February 2022, she pointed out that the U.S. has failed to interfere in other geopolitical episodes – namely in South Sudan, Armenia or Venezuela. "Who's getting rich off of this?" she asked of Ukraine. The notoriously outspoken fitness personality joined Hannity for a deep dive into all things health, fitness and politics in the latest installment of his "Sean" podcast, available on Fox Nation. Jillian Michaels Says 'Of Course' Americans Want To 'Drain The Swamp' After Cases Of Government Waste There, Michaels identified how the parties have changed in recent years, divulged her thoughts on U.S. involvement in foreign wars and pinpointed which politician she sees as "the devil." "This party [the Republican Party] has changed, and both parties have changed. Because it [the GOP] was the party of the neocons," Michaels said, reflecting on the Iraq War. "Dick Cheney – I think he's a war criminal… I think he's the devil." At the time, she viewed the Republican Party as the party of warmongerers and planted Democrats on the side of peace. Now, with the ongoing war in Ukraine and President Trump's calls for a ceasefire in the region, the story has seemingly reversed. Jillian Michaels Issues Warning On America's 'Horrifying' Health Crisis: 'Good Against Evil' Michaels elaborated more on her foreign policy stances, including her perspective on the U.S. offering support to Israel and why she supports the effort there while opposing others in other regions. The fitness guru also shared advice on living a healthy life, detailing her past struggles with weight while unloading on "Big Pharma" and the chemical profile of processed foods that have come under scrutiny since HHS Secretary RFK, Jr. brought attention to the issue.
