Third annual ride to build a better Belmont today
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Get your bike and head to the B&O Station in downtown Youngstown Sunday for the third annual Bike Belmont Ride.
Bring your appetite too because there's a post-ride BBQ celebration for you to enjoy.
The event is free to attend, and there are two routes for you to choose from. One starts at noon and is a 32-mile journey for experienced riders, going all the way to the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.
The second starts at 2 p.m. and is a 12-mile community ride that's more relaxed. It's perfect for families and casual cyclists and will also have a police escort.
Both routes will take you onto Belmont Avenue and into Liberty Township.
The goal is to continue supporting the efforts to Build a Better Belmont and give the community a fun and unforgettable experience.
