Garhwa SDM seals illegal ultrasound centre
Garhwa: Garhwa SDM Sanjay Kumar sealed an illegal ultrasound centre at Kandi bus terminus on Sunday.
The SDM was on his way to visit Dumarsota village on Sunday when he spotted the board of 'Care Ultrasound Centre' and grew suspicious.

Upon checking, it was found that the operator was a Class 12 pass-out who was presently doing his graduation.
He didn't have any degree, diploma, or certificate related to medical examination. The technician, Bikram Kumar (25), told the SDM that he hailed from Begusarai (Bihar) and was working at the centre for Rs 30,000 per month. The ultrasound centre belongs to one Rajnikant Verma of Majhiaon block.
Bikram told the SDM that he always conducted all ultrasound tests himself as the doctor does not come there.
After consulting the civil surgeon, the SDM sealed the ultrasound centre in the presence of policemen. "We will send a report to the civil surgeon, Dr Ashok Kumar, for further action against the owner of the ultrasound centre," the SDM said.
