NFL combine: Colorado WR Travis Hunter watches Browns WR Jerry Jeudy to model game after
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy got a shoutout from one of the top receivers at the NFL combine in two-way Colorado star and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
We are now into the second day of the NFL combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, and defensive backs and tight ends spoke to the media. Hunter was the most popular player of the day and had much to say. Among them was an interesting answer: What wide receivers did he model his game after as he entered the NFL?
One of his answers was none other than the former Biletnikoff Trophy winner and first round pick Jeudy. Athletically, it is easy to see the comparison between two players who are twitched up, can run any route, and have the explosiveness to run away from defenders with the ball in their hands. Hunter, of course, is a bit lankier with a wider catch radius than Jeudy.
With the Browns holding the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, is there a chance they could unite Hunter with Jeudy to form an unstoppable duo to build their passing attack out of?
