This Weekend: Stuckey Mitsubishi to partner with YMCA for ‘Pack the Bus' event
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) – With hunger on the rise and more families struggling, Centre County's YMCA is partnering with Stuckey Mitsubishi in the State College area to collect food for kids.
The Pack the Bus event is Saturday, March 1, and is 9-11 a.m. Anyone is encouraged to stop by the car dealership at 3400 E. College Ave, State College, PA. The YMCA's bus will be parked out front and ready to be filled with food.
All types of food are welcome – breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks are all accepted. Sales Manager Bill Zettlemoyer says serving the community is one of their 'core values,' and helping out the YMCA is something they are happy to do.
'As a parent, I have two boys, so it's important to me to be able to help other children, especially those that are less fortunate,' Zettlemoyer said. 'That's something I'm very passionate about.'
