Charity plans clean-up event for Southern 100 course
Volunteers are urged to come and help sweep up rubbish from the Isle of Man's Southern 100 course ahead of the Pre-TT Classics Buddies will be handing out cleaning materials from the course headquarters from 18:00 BST for people to help spruce up the 4.25 mile (6.8km) Billown Circuit. The charity said because the event will take place on busy roads children are not encouraged to take part. Temporary speed limits on Billown Circuit for maintenance
Temporary speed limits for road racing course work Works are scheduled to take place until Friday on the course Temporary speed limits have been put in place around parts of a road racing circuit in the south of the Isle of Man to allow for maintenance and equipment installation. Sections of the Billown Circuit have been made 40mph (64km/h) until Friday, with a rolling 30mph (48km/h) in between. Ballakeighan Road, Ballakeighan Corner, Castletown Road, By Pass Road, Douglas Road and Malew Road. have all been affected. The works have been schedule to take place ahead of the first road racing event on the course in 2025, the Pre-TT Classic Road Races, which runs from 26 to 28 May.
