'No one in our community should have to worry about their next meal. However, it is a devastating issue that impacts far too many of our neighbors here in the Southern Tier,' said Peter Newman, M&T Bank Regional President. 'At M&T Bank, our mission is to make a difference in people's lives—and supporting local groups that fight food insecurity is an important way we can help. We are thankful for the opportunity to support so many outstanding nonprofits dedicated to feeding communities across the region.'
Every year, M&T Bank awards more than $500,000 in grant funding to nonprofit organizations in the Southern Tier.
