Two injured in pickup truck crash near Julau Stadium

BINTANGOR (May 30): Two Indonesian men were injured after the pickup truck they were travelling in was involved in an accident along the Pan Borneo Highway near Julau Stadium yesterday (May 29).
Bintangor Fire and Rescue (Bomba) chief Mahmudin Narudin said they received an emergency call about the incident at 6.04pm.
'Upon receiving the call, a team of firefighters was dispatched to the accident site, which is located 40 kilometres from the station,' he said in a statement.
When the team arrived, they found that one of the victims had managed to exit the vehicle on his own, while the other remained trapped inside.
Firefighters immediately began rescue efforts and successfully extricated the trapped victim in about 10 minutes, Mahmudin added.
The injured men were then handed over to medical personnel from the Julau Health Clinic for further treatment. accident bomba crash julau
