Bintulu police chief Supt Nixon Joshua Ali said the deceased was believed to be on his way home from Simpang Sebauh when he lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to veer off the road and crashed into a metal roadside barrier. 'The man was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel,' he said in a statement. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact investigating officer Insp Lydia Allan at the Bintulu Traffic Police Station (086-338575) or the Bintulu IPD Operations Room (086-318304).
