CIProud Vote: What Should the Peoria County Courthouse name its Bison?
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — The Peoria County Courthouse is asking the public for help naming its Bison Statue.
The 5-foot-tall fiberglass bison statue is one of several being placed around the city to celebrate the county's 'Bison-tennial' celebration. Residents can take pictures with the bison placed around the city to earn badges as part of the 'Bison Trek Digital Passport.'

According to a County Facebook post, they are tired of just calling the Bison at the Peoria County Courthouse the 'Courthouse Bison' and are asking the public to weigh in on giving it a name.
They have narrowed it down to three options: Whiskey, Patches or Penny.
Those who want to can officially vote by reacting to the Peoria County Government Facebook post.
