Asian festival with over 60 food vendors making Boston debut this May

Pose for photos with a giant inflatable panda or devour tons of dumplings when an Asian festival makes its Boston debut next month. Panda Fest brings three days of Asian culture, cuisine and community to Boston City Hall Plaza from May 2 to May 4. The festival expanded to Boston this year after successfully launching in New York City in 2024. 'There is a surge in the interest and love for Asian food and culture, and we noticed that it's hard to find a dedicated platform in Boston to celebrate this,' Founder of Panda Fest Biubiu Xu said in a press release. 'That's why Panda Fest was created. It's intended to be an experiential festival where people can taste authentic Asian cuisine and immerse themselves in the rich culture and traditions.' Panda Fest will feature more than 60 Asian food vendors and 15 merchandise vendors. A list of sample vendors can be found below: ROYCE Chocolate PAGU Maca Boston Rensauce BBQ LLC Junbi Matcha & Tea – Brookline Lakon Paris Lumi Vietnamese Bistro Hello, Yam!
