I dug up old items previous home owners buried in my garden... this is what I found but nobody can figure out what the last item is

A family have been left scratching their heads after discovering one indecipherable item buried in their back garden. Discovering hidden artefacts in the garden sounds like an afternoon of awe-inspiring entertainment, but one family were left with more than they bargained for after being stumped by one strange item buried underneath their shed. Writing on Reddit, one account user from the UK shared pictures of 'rubbish' items that they had uncovered beneath their shed - speculating that the previous owners had likely 'buried their trash' rather than disposing of them in a skip. Alongside a slideshow of images, the Redditor wrote: 'We're redoing our garden and discovered that rather than hiring a skip, the previous owners just… buried their trash behind the shed.' 'Here are some of my favourite finds,' they added, next to the three unearthed products. First on the dig list was an ancient looking bottle of Fairy liquid with in the Spring Fresh scent. The bottle, somewhat weathered from having been buried underground, still had the distinctive Fairy branding featuring the manufacturers mascot, a baby in a nappy called Bizzie. Bizzi, who is said to be 'synonymous with the gentleness of Fairy products to both clothes and skin', appeared to have stood the test of time, with minimal damage to the exterior of the bottle. Visible on the bottle was the famous red of a Royal Warrant of Appointment, which was granted by the late Queen Elizabeth and still proudly held by the band. Next was an old piece of bread packaging from a Sainsbury's medium sliced white loaf. Featuring green, red and brown labelling, the packaging showed it's age, appearing markedly different from options now lining supermarket bakery shelves. Lastly, the treasure seekers discovered one peculiar looking item - a rusted box with a metal ring looped through the top. Small in size and pictured next to an old looking piece of silverware, the mysterious box left many wondering what exactly the item was. One Redditor wrote: 'I want to ask what that is in the last one but I know someone's gonna be like - spoon.' Offering relief to curious forum users, one shared a picture of a similar looking rusted box, with the same metal loop, explaining that it's purpose was as a weight and the spoon was likely included in the picture for scale. Others in the comments were more interested in the ancient bottle of Fairy liquid than they were the rusted foreign object, with several making jibes at the manufacturers famous advert that hailed the product's impressive longevity. 'So Fairy really does last longer. Huh,' one user quipped. A second joked: 'Taking "I hardly ever buy Fairy Liquid" to extreme levels.' 'Love that Fairy bottle. In the 90s I always wanted a long sleeve T-shirt with the fairy baby on it, never saw one though,' another remarked. The Reddit users aren't the first to have made surprising discoveries of things buried in their gardens. Last year, one coupe were left shocked after they found a second World War bunker under their summerhouse three years after they moved in. Catherine Milburn, 32, and husband Liam, 34, made the discovery while they were renovating their back garden. The couple from Wiltshire believe the bunker could be the remains of an Anderson shelter which would have been constructed during World War Two. There are only believed to be 14 of them left in the UK. Mrs Milburn, a regional manager, said: 'There's about a three-metre-long piece of concrete underneath a summerhouse in the garden. 'When we were digging it out, we noticed steel bars. 'We thought it was a bit over the top for a summerhouse then we got to a corrugated iron sheet. 'I thought 'Oh my God, what have we found? We kept digging. We were so excited. Liam and I kept going until we ran out of daylight. Then we found the steps. It's got water in it so we're going to pump it out.' Since the discovery, the family have now ditched their plans to build a garden room where the summerhouse stood as they want to preserve the shelter. The mother said: 'It's lovely to have that history in our back garden. 'We love the idea of making use of it and we want to do something different. 'We want to get some light in there. I'll definitely document it as we go. The kids are really excited and the school want to do a trip here. It's so educational for them to learn about the history.'
