Lowcountry, the Old West to meet again for Blue & BBQ Benefit
HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WSAV) – The Lowcountry and the Old West will meet again to the support Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park's 2025 fundraising efforts for the Blue & BBQ Benefit in March.
The benefit will take place on March 29 from 4-7 p.m. at the Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park.
You can watch a live blacksmith in action, explore the archaeology dig sites, check out Yemassee's Black Cowboys and look at the ghosted structures.
Proceeds from this event will advance several transformative projects at Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park, including:
Mitchelville Era Home Ghost Structures
Era Home Garden
Archaeological Core Samples
Church/Archaic Reflection Area
Admission includes all food, drinks, and entertainment for $125.
